Hamptons vs Wayne County

What's everyone's thoughts on this matchup look like?

Does wayne handle intense full court pressure well?  I know Baugus will dominate inside.  I just wonder if their defense can slow down the lady dogs.

No offense to the young ladies of Hampton, but I'm calling Wayne County by 18. They're a very solid team, play defense well with good guard play, and a baller in Baugus(?).

McKenzie or VB one will walk away with the silver ball, but these are the best two teams down there, IMO.

There aren’t two better teams than Wayne County I don’t think. They may not win it, but there aren’t two better teams.

I think Wayne County wins it all fwiw.

If Hampton gets in foul trouble, it'll get ugly quick.  They will also have to shoot 50% or better to make it a 4 quarter deal.  Baugus will have her way.  They got to try to limit the damage and see if that full court trap will work.

Mckenzie and Wayne County will be replaying last year's championship game again on Saturday. Those are the 2 best Single A teams at the tourney. Too much firepower on those teams and their style of play was evident in the quarterfinal matches.

If Hampton played a tougher schedule than I would say Hampton could play within 10. But when you run into a team obviously with the calibur of Wayne county I will say wayne county by 22.

McKenzie is still the top dog until proven otherwise. Only lost one player from last years state championship team. They have managed to put teams away in their last 4 games in the glass house without shooting the ball well like they normally do. If they can improve their shooting % these next 2 games they will repeat. They have yet to play their best game in that building.
