Best 1/2A team ever?

Saw a similar post on the basketball threads and wanted to hear everyone’s opinions on this. I know a lot of smaller schools have moved up and down between 1/2A over the years so both are included. Who is the best team ever?

Outside of the private schools - Trousdale County 97 was DOMINANT.

If we are including private schools, Ezell Harding State Championship team. I believe it was 2001 or 2002.

Early 90's Dca with Scooter Ewards was pretty good

They were good but Bruceton did beat them in state championship

The 2019 Peabody team was very dominant. The 2018-2020 years at Peabody was as good a run as anybody has had anywhere , but 2019 was probably the best of them.

I think they at least need to be in the discussion.

97-98 Trousdale were both great teams.  I guess the nod goes to 97 as 98 did drop the opener to BGA. But check out the below season stats for 97. Kinda crazy.  Aggregate points scored versus given up at 733-63!

Just looked up schedule on Alabama database, and they beat Monterey 91-0 that  year?!?!
