Your right. Farragut is the best 3-6 team in the state for sure. Could eaisly be 6-3 and we better look at them like their 6-3.

Yes for Maryville you want to keep the momentum going coming off big wins against Cleveland and Alcoa but I think in the bigger picture the game doesn't change anything if Maryville were to lose, Maryville can't lose the 3 seed no matter what, they would have beat Cleveland head to head and they'll own the overall better record over Farragut. Lord willing this is how I think it's going to play out Db beats Sh, Bearden beats Boo Central

West Ridge at Bearden

SH at Boo Central

Maryville at Db

Cleveland at Jeff County

Cleveland being a 4 seed playing Jeff Co, tough draw for the Patriots.  Upset alert.

Playoff Question:    If by slim chance, Farragut is able to upset Maryville, and assuming Cleveland beats Hardin Valley, all 3 teams would have the same 2-3 district record.    That means 3 teams for the 3rd and 4th district playoff spots.   In this situation, what does the TSSAA use as the tie breaker?    In this scenario, head to head could not be used, because all 3 teams will have beaten one another.  (farragut over maryville, maryville over cleveland, and cleveland over farragut)

Just trying to figure out whether or not farragut even has a remote chance still to make the playoffs.

Thanks.

Pretty sure the first one would be overall wins, which knocks out Farragut and Maryville has the tiebreaker over Cleveland. Only way Farragut can get is to beat Maryville and for HVA to beat Cleveland, in that scenario they would finish 3rd

Well, if that is true, then Farragut has no chance, even with a Maryville upset.   There is absolutely no way HVA is beating Cleveland.   What a sad disappointing season for the Admirals.

Yeah not looking great. 2-6A is just really tough, Farragut has been a model of consistency the last 20 yeats
