For what it's worth, and for the sake of understanding: The TSSAA schedule shows both Cloudland and Cosby playing in the "Hall of Champions " on Thursday November 16, 2023. The Coach T Scoreboard has Cloudland playing South Greene 3:30 Friday. At 5:30 pm 11/17/23 it still remains on the Coach T site. Take a look.

I guess we won't play til the 22nd. Happy Valley Thanksgiving tournament.  We got tri cities Christian, cedar view,  and twin springs.  All massacres.  I want the dB, jeff County, and science Hill competition

This deserves a response. It takes an impartial student of the game to post what you have. Thank you. South Greene is led by Seniors Haley Brooks #23 and #5 Emma Cutshall. If opposing teams do not get either player in early foul trouble, they are in for a long night. As for the rest of the team, opponents are in for some surprises.

The Cutshall name sounds familiar. She got family that played at some point?? I love girls basketball and have for years. I love Gibson County to the moon and back but I respect other teams and their games. We all want the Gold Ball but only one will get it. The team that beat us was a really great team. They would have been easy to root for. Way it kinda ended up was a 2 year round robin. Middleton knocked y'all out in 2015 I think, we knocked Middleton out in 2016 and South Green knocked  us out in 2016.

We play Twin Springs Wednesday. I don't know anything about them being a VA team.

I took a little trip to Tennessee high today.  The lady dogs dropped a close one 49-45.  You could tell Hampton misses Jenkins and McClain.  They didn't handle the full court pressure like I thought they would.  It was an exciting game with Hampton leading most of it.  Berry is a tremendous player for the Bulldogs.  I'm going to sneak around and watch a NG game in the not so distant future.

My next South Greene game to watch is at Dobyns Bennett, Dec 1. Many kudos to SG coach Stepen Gregg for scheduling teams above his teams' classification. It pays off.

Yeah, playing those games does absolutely nothing for y'all, except getting reps for the reserves.

Don't want to bust your bubble, but not sure you can handle DB, Jefferson County or SH. Better keep beating 1A and 2A.

    • Congratulations to Huntingdon and Station Camp. Lots of good softball in Tennessee. Alcoa been media favorite last two seasons.
    • Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!
    • No doubt. ORC a good dude.
    • In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
