Yes that’s the issue… Oakland is the issue.. they’re Goliath but there’s some major adjustments in the atheletic program here. Bradley’s JV is monsterous. They beat Baylor 41-0, beat Alcoa 6-0 in the 1 quater scrimmage, beat Cleveland 53-21 they went undefeated. Lake Forrest has some insanely talented kids feeding into Bradley …. Lake forest lost one game… so an entirety of 2 losses between the JV… the varsity and the middle school. That’s outstanding…and Bradley built a good starting year so we can pull Clevelands talent next year if they’ll transfer. A lot of them are already dual zoned which is a huge plus.. … I’ve heard Bradley’s next years team will be monsterous. I know for a fact we have j’Allen terry, suskawicz, Zayne machintosh, and several others. But I don’t think maryville is going to get the results they think they’re going to get lol they’re thinking this was a one year wonder… this was just the ramp up year of recruiting lol next year will be almost the same story, bearden will be tough too… Bradley’s coaching and plays improved dramatically this year. Last night in the 3rd creasy was simply getting out coached… and beat to snot by a team half their size….

The 41-0 defeat of Baylor JV is irrelevant as all their best players only play varsity. Bradley will take a massive step back next year. Might be good in the future but they aren’t going to replace the talent they are losing next year.

:lol::lol:. Creasy hasn't been out coached by anyone since GQ left Murvil.   Even then,  sometimes he may have been and sometimes he wasn't.

Exactly… GQ could match Creasy with the X & Os. Once Creasy got his system installed, it was much easier to compete with GQ and Maryville. I will say GQ was a master at gimmick plays and stealing points.

Bradley puts an emphasis on winning JV games (nothing wrong with that) and will even play juniors in those games. I wouldn’t read too much into those results or the middle school. Make no mistake, this was their year, will be a step back next year.

What’s Bradley’s recruiting budget look like for next year?

there are some kids down in God’s country always looking for greener grass.

Also, where will the Carter boy play basketball?

We know he can’t play consecutive sports at the same school?

Boo is graduating early in December. He’s gone.  And Bradley’s coach is potentially retiring.

We will see about 2024…. It’s a year away… a lot can happen between now and then. But don’t shine your shoes all up and say it’s over for Bradley Bradley had nobody hardly in 2022 and you seen what happened in just 1 summer and seeing the results and sucess…. Of pulling in talent… nobody seen it coming .. I’d say it’ll happen again because it worked. The factor would be if Damon retires then Bradley will be searching for a good coach… which will really kick off the program. Not saying Damon is a bad coach just saying building a program from scratch may be the answer. may have to throw Gary rankin a good offer seeing he took the bucs to championship in 2 years lol kidding but I’ve heard rumors he possibly may be retiring.  A lot of changes are coming to Bradley football…… getting talent is priority right now so finding single struggling moms with atheletic sons and putting them in Govt housing can help lol who knows what will happen but there’s some VERY wealthy people in Bradley County that could contribute to that. Kinda helps that Allen jones and vols coach are good buddies. Seeing Josh at the bears stadium this year was crazy as well as deon sanders being there a couple times. Let’s you know this area is getting huge recognition…

Did you graduate in 2023? Is that where the handle comes from?

    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with county’s with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
    • It will be interesting to see if the Warren County School District allows this to go before a jury or they settle out of court before going to trial.  My guess is that this case never goes to trial.  If this goes before a jury, they could award even more than the $750K.  I was on a jury where they were asking for 185K and were awarded 1.2 million.  You never know what will happen in that jury room.
