Riverside vs ER State Championship Showdown

ER was all hype but went to the wire with a runner up team from last year that returned 10 starters. Congratulations riverside again.

In all seriousness ER was much better than I expected as a team I thought they would lay down after being punched in the mouth on the first drive, with that being said #1 is darn good but was overrated by the East TN posters he’s probably top 5-10 RB in the state not the best Riversides front 7 showed out tonight. Not the cleanest Offensive game for the Panthers a mishandled snap and drops really kept this from being a 2 score game.

Riverside just saw a lot of good football players play their last game and Huntington Milan and Peabody were young this year gonna be a slug fest in every region game next year the winner of the region will most likely see ER this time next year.

ER didn’t play bad, but shoulda hit #2 Groves for some passes. I understand not putting it on the freshman qb but come on now.

Congratulations Riverside. East Robertson never ashould have been allowed to be in that game. Riverside should have won by forfeit. I went to their game against York and they were shoving York players after the whistle all night long, started fights, and were the worst team as far as sportsmanship I have ever seen. No team ever deserved to lose more than they did.

Still shoulda got him the ball on a go or anything. He is 6’5 and has a major athletic advantage over everyone.

ER coach is fine.  I was hoping to not have to explain.  Forrest and Riverside played in QF in 2019 and 2021.  Since then Forrest is 7-14.  Riverside has been to semis 4x the title game 2x and now has Gold
