But they wasn’t as talented as they are now.

You guys have once in a generational talent up there now… I mean come on… who in 2A ball has 3-5 division 1 players on their roster.

There is not a reason in this world that anyone y’all have played this year should’ve been within 14-21 points from beating you.

Had the same talent in the past and couldn’t get above .500…. And now in his second season they are chasing a gold ball with a younger team . Can’t ask for much more

When you see 25 dragging 5 players 8 yards  down the field every play you may think otherwise.

LOL, we must have been sitting pretty close together at H'town Waker...I had a ringside seat for that carry! Been watching #25 for three years run over us and vs. several others, but was still amazed at that one.

For all you not there, it actually happened...half the Mustang team had hands on him & he kept going like the Energizer Bunny.

I know a couple of programs that would in West Tennessee. Just wonder if he will ride the talent then skedaddle? That’s what our old coach did but he couldn’t ever make it to the big show with all that talent!

Exactly how this plays out. When the major talent and son go through the program in 2-3 years and possibly gets offered a would be sought after job be dumb not to take it.

He’s definitely in a good position as a young coach for sure. Ride the talents skirt tails into a bigger / better job.

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
