Last year I watched them and Carter play on TV and I'm surprised the coach finally put in the all star basketball player at QB and almost pulled it off. How could a coach not know he had a better second string QB. It was like night and day difference. I would do what ever it took to get Stevens back there.

Naw Barn I think they need Kwayu Graham,  I believe he was the "Mind" behind the AE success. SS was just along for the ride.

Why you say that?  Any job is an attractive job, AE has rich history of winning and they'll get back soon.

Being an AE fan for a very long time I would like to see the following and no particularly  order;

Stanton Stevens 

Bryson Rosser

Kwayu Graham 

Troy Flemings 

Don Colquitt

Jay Graham

Teddy Gaines

Cedrick Wilson

 

All are former High School coaches, some are at the college level , but all are potential coaches that can come in turn this program around and get them back to the winning side.  AE's AD will have his hands full with this hire and this could make or break him as an AE.  However, the AD is a football minded guru and he will hire the best guy.

Serious question…because I’m not from Knoxville…has there ever been a white head coach at AE? Nothing behind the question honestly I’m just curious. Please don’t cancel me.
