What hurt bradley was having to travel because they lost to WV by missing g 15 free throws

I agree completely.  Yall had a good team.  Classy program, kids, and coach from what I could see.   You would have had a much better shot at home vs LaVergne.    Our crowd last night was unbelievable.

How about LaVergne?  Pretty cool we have 2 teams going from District 7 after having to go through the boro district and the chattanooga region!

This Program has came along way.  Coaches deserve some much earned credit as do the players.

I'm so proud of our team, school, and community.   They showed up and showed off Monday night.  That is the most Cookeville fans that have ever been in that gym and surely rivals the biggest crowd in general to ever attend a game there.     Literally the only seats available were the first two rows in the top bleachers.  I assume because you can't see over the rail.

Cavs have 7 kids that can play.  7 that could start and be productive on 98% of teams in the state. Obviously we have some good young talent behind them on the bench, but that 7 man rotation has been special.   2 of the 4 seniors have already signed/committed D2 and someone is going to get a steal with Colin Ayers.

Go Cavs, Beat Maryville!

It will be safe to say you will pretty much fill up the Glass House. Since Maryville is on spring break I’m not sure what kinda crowd we will bring. I’m looking forward to it though

Go Red Rebels

Cookeville on spring break also. It would be great to see a large Cookeville contingent but hard to tell.

terrible that both schools are on spring brink and its 9:30 on a Wednesday.   Hopefully fans will show up .  Boys deserve it.

9:30 on Wednesday and again on Friday if they win.  That’s scary in itself.  How many teenage boys are game ready at 9:30 AM on spring break??

Cookeville looked good yesterday.  Everyone keeps saying they have no big but they keep beating really good teams with multiple 6’7 and 6’8 players.  Defense travels and shooters will keep you in many games you aren’t supposed to be in.   You are already there boys so why not just win this whole thing!

Bartlett looked good yesterday but definitely beatable.  If we shoot well we have a shot at beating anyone.

Indy did look really good on the other side.

    • We played South Side this summer and it went into OT and we lost on a last second shot. I thought our girls handled their pressure as well as we have in a while and that is the reason I think we will have a really good ball handling team. South Gibson will have their hands full with Dyersburg and South Gibson has never beat South Side. Back to what I was saying South Gibson needs another ball handler especially if they have to play South Side in a do or die game and handle their pressure. As far as who wins our Region, it will be must see basketball for sure and like I said I like our team. I like your team as well. Huntingdon is loaded 5 in and 5 out and you got a great Junior High Team. Huntingdon Fans are going to have a whole lot of fun the next 5 or 6 years. Loretto is really good this year. I got to watch them in Brentwood. They got a Freshman Guard that can go. Going to be a fun year.
    • After seeing Southside this summer I think they will be better than last season.  Seems that the big three Southside, South Gibson and Dyersburg will be the region favorites once again.  In 2A Gibson County is the favorite in that region with a toss up between Westview and Union City.  I think Memphis Business and Gibson Co will represent the west this season.  I think that Westviews run to glass house may end.
    • South Gibson better get ready to battle in the deep end because South Side and Dyersburg will be a challenge. They will have to beat Dyersburg in the District Finals to avoid South Side in the Region. South Gibson better find another guard that can handle pressure and score to take pressure off of Dunn. They need to learn to score to take it to another level. They scored 29 and only lost by 7 last year at state. As far as Westview and Union City, they will be pretty good but Gibson County might have the best ball handling team we have had in a while this year with four guards on the floor with 3 PG's. We have 3 seniors with tons of experience. I really love this team this year. Looks like Westview lost out to the girl from Florida to USJ. Unless something happens they will have 1 player back with meaningful minutes. I know they will be competitive for sure but they will have their hands full.
    • South Gibson drags you to the deep end and makes you like it. Tough group that communicates and really seems to love competing.  Union City will be improved but don't know how they handle nights were Moss doesn't go off.  South Side is fast and athletic but I don't think they're as good as last year.  Westview girls will be better later in the season because they are depending on folks that haven't done it yet.  Westview may lose a district game but they'll be the 1 seed over UC.  South Gibson beats Dyersburg for that district. South Side runs Jackson again.
    • Jasper got insulted like MASE and SP did.    TOP 10 Division I Class 2A Sch. Rank 1. Milan (13-2) 10 2. Bledsoe County (11-2) 14 3. Marion County (13-2) 19 4. Huntingdon (10-3) 5 5. Westmoreland (10-3) 6 6. York Institute (11-3) 9 7. East Robertson (10-2) 30 8. Fairley (11-1) 43 9. Jackson Central-Merry (9-3) 20 10. Summertown (8-3) 26
