That is some the best team defense I've seen considering their size.

I think they held Bartlett to 12 pts the second half    And Bartlett looked lost on Offense.    If you haven't played against a matchup zone that executed at that level its a hard thing to gameplan for with just a few hours to cover it between games.

They won’t “let” it happen. Cookeville will take it if they win.

Shooters gonna shoot.   And I think they come out blazing tomorrow.     People been waiting to see us go cold all year.     After todays game I don't think it will happen.    They are too locked in.

Indy was cheering for Cookeville because they already played Bartlett this year and lost.  Probably didn't want to play them again.  Should be a dandy tomorrow:  middle tn final.  In 4A.  So awesome.

So proud of CHS.  A ball is coming back home with them.... lets make it gold!

The Upper Cumberland is bringing home more hardware this year than any other area of the state.

Where y'all at?

I was just about to quote your 10 pt win prediction (almost it was 9) and congratulate Independence. Maybe you could take a page out of Jett Montgomery book and have a little class. I'm not from Cookeville. But I pulled for them. But I'm happy for Jett.

    • What’s sad Barney is the cards in the deck are stacked against them.  With the success the MAVS are having just down I-75, any talented players are heading that way. I always said what the Price twins did there was second to none, making the playoffs and winning a playoff game is the ceiling there. On a great year, maybe a q-final appearance but that is a big stretch.  Finding a coach there is very tough. I feel for the new coach, he’s in a very bad situation and I’m not sure he even realizes it. I understand he wants to be positive and have hope, but I don’t see them scratching a win. Maybe he will prove me wrong.
    • I agree, 2A is the only class in thet state where the west side of the bracket is tougher, not taking anything away from Marion county at all but they should run that side for years to come
    • Should be a big week in Dayton coming up with the 100th anniversary of the Scopes Monkey Trial.
    • AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.
