Huntingdon vs Columbia Academy

I don't know a whole lot about Columbia Academy, but I believe they will be better than last year and it will be a good test for the Mustangs. If Huntingdon can't stop Columbia Academy's pass then it will be a high scoring game, but I believe the Mustangs will win by anywhere from 2-4 touchdowns.

Got to just love the enthusiasm of first time posters.

Columbia Academy gave us fits the 1st half last year. 2nd half we wore them down and moved the ball at will. CA has a talented team that will test us. We will have to be ready to play and I have no doubts we will!

Stangs by 14 if they stop the run.    CA has a good RB and ground game.   If they can control the run, then keep running like they have the first couple of week - Stangs by 2 TDS.

Not saying they can't/won't run on us, but our run defense isn't what I'm worried about. It's the passing defense that I'm worried about. But as a Mustang fan, that's the biggest worry year in and year out.

Is there a real shot that Huntington is able to hang with a team that recruits more players than Lane Kiffin?

Huntingdon beat them by 34 last year and CA had a pretty good squad. Most schools that don’t normally play Huntingdon are not prepared for the physical toll it takes over 4 quarters. Huntingdon is almost always the smaller team. When they trot out, you think, they aren’t that big and don’t look that tough. Then they repeatedly pull 4 or 5 guys on every play and just wear outside linebackers, ends and corners down. Over and over and over.

if I were an opponent of Huntingdon I would not attempt a single running play. I would throw it every single down until they proved they could stop it. Huntingdon defense is very tough against the run. And getting better.

If I had to play defense against Huntingdon I would completely sellout against the run until they had to throw it.

Now they don’t have to watch any film on Huntingdon

If they have watched any Huntingdon game in the last 10 years they know what Huntingdon is going to do. Have there been changes? Do you think coaches are scouring coach t for a Has-Been to let them in on a team secret?
