Two of the best receivers in the state come out of 2A region 4....Patrick Turner (obviously) and Austin Rogers at David Lipscomb. Rogers performed well in all of the camps the summer and is highly recruited by most SEC schools. It will definetly be a showdown again this year between these two rivals especially as these two players come to the end of their high school career. It was Rogers who stepped up big at last years game, who will it be this year?

gimme3

He wasn't kicked off the team...he quit...he walked off...has to fulfill some requirements, but is actively practicing...

Also look out for Darryl Hayes of Dobyns-Bennett, a big receiver for the Indians last year...he and others will make teams hate the fact that they double teamed Lamon, or they won't double team him and hate that, as well

Keep your eyes and ears open for several skilled wr's from Tyner but specifically:

1. Kevion Jones

2. Martez Mitchell

3. Melvin White

In the "slot" or "wide-out" these guys will hurt you!!!

Here is another East Tenn. reciever that will surprise this year, and could end up as one of the better recievers. He didn't get to play his true position last year ( Qb, Db, Wb, Kr), other than a few plays, but with a good emerging soph. QB watchout!

Jeffery Moore 6'2" 190 4.5 from Sweetwater. Played most offensive positions last year, very football smart, with lots of heart, good hands, and a nack for getting open.

During Tennessee Senior camp he burned most the Db's that were there, catching several Td's in a row during one-on-one drills, enough to draw the attention of Coach Fulmer, who called him over to talk and ask who was recruiting him! :) thumb
