Brian Hall vs Ryan MacFarland at the QB position. Both play in the defensive backfield. Both have some experience. Edge goes to Hall. Not sure who Collierville has returning at ball carrier. Ronez Harris returns for Gallatin with Jay Brown back from injury last year to assist. Edge Gallatin. Both lost some on the offensive line. Eller leads Collierville while R.C Smith leads Gallatin. Even. Defensive line, both are probably even. Linebackers goes to Gallatin with Coward and Malone returning after starting last year. Edge Gallatin. Defensive backfield. Sophmores abound at Gallatin while Hall adds that key cog for Collierville. Edge Collierville. Kicking game. Collierville returns a proven kicker while Gallatin needs some experience at the position. Edge Collierville. Shilpey has a lot of ability at reciever, so does Hall and Gleaves. Not sure about Collierville. Even. Intangibles goes to Collierville with the long trip for Gallatin, lack of overall team experience, and emotions high this year.

This is going to be a really good match up. Both teams are fairly equal in size. Collierville starts mostly seniors, while Gallatin starts arournd half juniors and half seniors. Gallatin is getting pretty hyped up already, and the coaches are doing all they can to prepare them for the game. I would look for a game as close or even closer than last year's match up! Special teams could decide this one!

If we can improve on some obvious problems then we have a good chance. I think it will be close no matter the outcome.

Brian Hall is one of the best athletes in the state. Collierville will dominate if Brian Hall dominates. It should be a good game, but it all depends on the play of 1st team all state quarterback Brian Hall.

The Gallatin players will be pulling out of the High School parking lot around 11:00 Friday morning. That will give them just enough time to get there, get off the bus and get suited up and have 2 hrs to warm up. After that long ride, they are going to need that long to get stretched out!

I hope Gallatin shows well stopping Hall is the key. He is just like Jamison for Collierville. I was very impressed by his play last year a strong leader. His play will decide the outcome of this game either way. If Gallatin can stop him I think we win, if not then it will be a long ride home. See you guys there.
