c18k
Well, me being a star curling player in the northeast regions of the south central section of the US, I think I would have the authority, since I am an avid DB Football fan and live in the splendid town that is Kingsport, to say that DB will annihalate Jeff Co. In fact I heard from an inside source in Germany that Jeff Co. is dookie and that they wont score 6 points..or even 7. Duran Ferguson is the #1 prospect in this universe, Lamon Williams will tear them up running his routes and whatnot and we will score just under 100. That is my prediction. Chomp
The announcement tonight was that the game could be moved to Friday, Saturday or Monday or possibly cancelled and re-scheduled. A decision is supposed to be made on Wednesday. Bad news on Boomer's injury - let's keep him in our prayers that it's no more than a sprain and he'll be back on his feet in no time! Roll Tribe! JC4life
I haven`t heard anything about the game being moved (I wouldn`t mind). I do think that the rain could help Jefferson Co. Heavy rain should slow the DB passing game down some, and can lead to some turnovers. It also might force DB to run the ball more than they would have liked to, which is very good news because we have a tough front 7. ferg5996
I can see J. Fred being packed to the gills more then usual next week, after the big win over OR. Everyone was to see this team play. I will make it up there to see them before this season is over, I will probably wait till playoffs. A question for anyone that knows Lamon or Duran. Does anyone know of the main colleges that are recuriting them? Lamon is the only one listed on rivals100.com but there is not list of schools for him. 825336811[/snapback] I know some of the schools that are interested in Duran. Arkansas has recently sent him some letters. Marshall, Virginia Tech, Virginia, and then most of the smaller schools are inquiring. Lamon has his sights set on Miami, FSU, but if there are no offers on the horizon, look for him to go some place like Marshall.
ferg5996
One thing people don't remember about this football team is the game that DB let slip up on them last year. Didn't Karnes beat DB last year after they started out the season so strong. They haven't done anything yet. They need to keep their heads and stay humble. When you have the better team by far; like they will against teams other than JC, they should not worry about winning the games, but by how much they are going to win the games. I played football in College and in my last year, we were undefeated. We knew we were better than everyone on the schedule. We wanted to embarrass all the teams on the schedule, not just win. That is how DB should look at these games. They are going to be more talented than most if not all.
