Super 7 Division II AAA Favorite

So far the Super 7 is having an up and down year. After five weeks of football, who would you say are the top contenders to play for the state championship?

I didnt see the BA/CBHS game but i think they have way too much talent to not be successful this year, so im going to say its another BA/MBA year

After tonight's loss to McCallie, I'm worried about my Eagles...they're now 2-2 on the season and 0-2 in the Super Seven (albeit against two fine teams). If I thought it would work as well as it did last year in the first game against MBA, I'd pick against BA again. But I believe they'll rebound and once more tread the characterless grounds of Vanderbilt Stadium, playing in the most significant game that field will see this year.

Until MUS loses, the Owls should be given more credit than they have received, particularly if they beat Briarcrest this Friday, which just beat CBHS.

I wouldn't put much past MBA either. They did lose, but the team they lost to is in the USA Today Super 25 now. I mean...come on. They're not the same team they were last year, but they definitely deserve some respect.

Any Rutledge-coached team deserves respect...except maybe Vanderbilt.

Super 7 is pretty weak this year. I would say CBHS and MUS are the most likely candidates for the championship.

I'm not really sure the Eagles can stand another silver ball. If they do I'd say it's time for Coach Flatt to hang up the whistle and give the program over. I'd say things will definately get more and more interesting as the year goes on. The level of intensity will raise and teams will play better and better. Happens every season.
