If Cookeville and Riverdale split, then the district tourney will decide who goes to the region, right?

If Cookeville and Riverdale split, the two teams that reach the tournament finals will advance to the region, with the final game deciding who travels and who stays at home.

If one or the other sweeps, they get the automatic berth and then whoever wins the tournament (or finishes second if regular season winner wins tourney) also advances.

If Cookeville and Riverdale split, Riverdale will be the #1 seed due to the tie-breaker of losing to a higher seeded team.

If the season ended today, the district tournament would be:

at Riverdale:

Oakland vs Blackman

White Co vs Riverdale

at Cookeville:

Lebanon vs Warren Co

Siegel vs Cookeville

but two more games to go (3 for Warren County and White County)

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
