cherokean
Coach Jason Hicks has step down as HC on Friday...Who will become the 10th HC for the Cherokees, will it be someone internally? or could it be someone externally? Polarsloth
I don't blame the man for leaving after the way the gb fans treated him on the field after the loss to cf.
TheMan0405
Guess he got tired of losing to CF in the playoffs. Greenback needs to make the right hire because the region will be tough this year.

I don't think he was acting like an idiot at all. If they beat Coalfield this past year, I'd bet money he'd still be the head coach today. I understand family and all, but success makes it easier to stay. Good luck to him and Greenback in the future.

I also bet that the job he took as a Nike Rep. back before Christmas, ended up more time consuming than what he expected it to be as well...and of course the family thing thrown in. The time involved coaching HS football today is exponentially greater compared to what it was when my dad coached, 20-25 years ago.
