Hey, I got a plane for hire. Regular trips south of the border.

I garuntee you Jasperlites things is already better. See pegleg has agreed to fly you a candidate in to that Jasper airport. He can do a quick screening at pickup to make sure it aint a SOS. Pegleg went to Mexico to get Grider a candidate after the SOS left us. You think im joking but im not.

I bet it's Mathis and I bet they win a gold ball.

If he leaves oh man oh man

They are losing their defensive head coach and will now be able to beat Trezevant? How long would Coach Mathis stay? He's not from this area and came with Coach Ross. I believe if this is opened up we will see several good candidates from around the state and maybe even some local ones.

I'm hearing the players want Mathis as head coach. He is building a house in Jasper Highlands. Well, he hasn't started yet but is supposed to be soon. So who knows. If Mathis leaves it may get ugly.

Coach Mathis would be great hire

Old Pirate ain't got a clue about coach Mathis but....is or would he be a long term answer or simply an attempt to slow the bleeding? Obviously he brought in by the SOS and he too was left high & dry, so it seems? Is he going to tread water and wait on a position to open up with MCCallie or be a real long term coach? OP jest wondering, hopefully he is learning a lesson also...

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
