Region 7A (Toughest Region in State?)

We will see how it unfolds. I will pull for whoever from West TN makes it. I have seen all four play. My picks are Dresden and Huntingdon. No disrespect to TCA. They are a good team.

TCA with wins over Gibson County and Westview.  Wins over  Middleton, Chester County, Riverside (twice each) and a come from 7 down in overtime to beat a top 10 ranked Mitchell team tonight. PLEASE, keep underestimating TCA.

The two best championships to watch will be TCA and Middleton and Huntingdon and Dresden of all the ones in our immediate area.

 

I watched both South Side and Westview tonight and I believe SS is fixing to blow WV out on Wednesday. Likewise, I believe Haywood will beat Liberty pretty easily. Liberty must've revamped in the last couple of weeks...but that's a testament to tourney play every night. I'm not underestimating TCA. Good shooter, good inside play, and fundamentally sound.

I'm a Middleton alum...the refs not going to let Mitchell come down here and let Mitchell beat TCA...That guard from TCA get alot of fouls from flopping!!!

Really was impressed with Dresden tonight. #12 played physical all night on Greenfield's Moore, and I don't think Moore could respond with an adjustment. I like Dresden's size, it matches up well with Huntingdon, I believe the guard play will be key on Tuesday night. Interesting to see how things will shape out in McKenzie on Tuesday. Yes, Dresden and Huntingdon played 3 times this year and the differential margin has gotten smaller each time.

 

Greenfield didn't make shots tonight, but their future is as bright as the sunglasses emolji.

 

I thought Peabody had a chance to beat Huntingdon, but their 3rd quarter was just as (if not more) sloppy than the Fillies' which killed their chances. This region is hard!!!

What grade is #12 for Dresden? I know we are pretty senior heavy but we also have a few good younger girls on the team. Trying to figure out what we will look like the next few years.

She didn't get to the free throw line cause the refs wasn't giving her the calls she usually get from flopping...plus Mitchell was on her #### all night she couldn't get the ball!!!

You are new to coach t I see. It is frowned upon to call out a player by name and say they are dirty. But since you can't use proper grammar or spell her name correctly, you can just call her 15A MVP by a unanimous vote.

#12 is a Senior (Bryant). She's a great kid and a great competitor.

I don't usually make a showing in this sport they refer to as basketball, but c'mon Lady Lions....it's Huntingdon and they need a beat down on the hardwood.

Mitchell's lack of discipline cost them that game. Came from several down in the forth, to up 9 in OT...then the tech, and downhill from there. If they keep their composure and just play it's a stretch for TCA to get back.
