If you have a problem with reading about other classifications on this board, then skip this post. I don't really care. Happy that Knox County and Stanton Stevens finally got things worked out so he can return to Austin-East. Stanton is a very good football coach, and a terrific human being. I hope he's able to help A-E bring the program back to great success.3 points

Congrats to Westview on a good season. They will be back strong again next year. Three Miss Basketballs candidates all looked great. All AA games were in single digits as we expected. Proud of our girls for sure battling against a really good Huntingdon team. Good luck to all. Great games today.2 points

The York coach schedules a very difficult non-district slate of teams for his squad also. That helps prepare them for games like the one today -a very tight game against a quality opponent. Today wasn't the first time they encountered a situation where they needed to battle back from a sizable deficit in a loud, pressure-packed environment. Good Luck to the Dragonettes the rest of the way !2 points

I’ll say this it was a great halftime adjustment by the coaches from York. The players stepped up as well. Hard to come back from 10 down against McMinn Central that’s rarefied air right there.2 points

South Side will be loaded next year. Losing no one I don't think. They could have won it this year. Congrats to Dyersburg. Strayhorn is a good guy.1 point

Congratulations to Dyersburg. Tough team to beat. This Hawk will still pull for the W Tenn teams, including the one that we just lost to. #HawkNation #HereComesTheCloser1 point

She definitely did! Whats is crazy is if she and AaLiyah Story (One of David Crockets best players) at 6'2 played at Greeneville like both their dads, Greeneville would be even better than they are. Athleticism runs deep with hard work.1 point

For WV to make it back after graduating their big stars, then not being at full strength, plus having the target on their back for being back to back champions. They went down with honor, we will be back and better next season.1 point

There has been some great games today! I knew that McMinn vs York game was going to be great. Smith county put up a heck of a fight. And now this Loretto vs Westview is a 2pt game with :21 left. Great day!1 point

your name is the title of one of his songs. I imagine you meant gray rider based on your battle flag, but i wasn't sure. nonetheless, it's not like maryville, or it's interests, are a secret. heck, I imagine most of those northerners move there on purpose.1 point

Welcome back to E. Tennessee Coach. Good luck with the rebuild, football is so much better around here when AE is good. Go Roadrunners!1 point

Bradley Female Bears are dominant for sure. I guarantee it. I would like to see a Bradley Female Bear and Cleveland Female Raider game in the state title. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.1 point

Union Tornados and Prep Sentinels are two of the top teams and they are making them play first game. I am Captain Guru and I approve this message.1 point

Yes after the Region but before the substate this year. Trust me I think everyone agrees the TSSAA should have communicated that better and it not just show up when they released the brackets before the substate games.1 point

I don’t like TreyB, but when he’s right, he’s right. Mattox is absurdly ridiculous.1 point

Give me the lady wildcats of Wayne County in this game and the next one. After three straight trips they finally get the job done.1 point

What are you talking about? What does it matter? It’s a blind draw the only thing I would like to see is for them to televise it on YouTube or something that way all the teams, players and coaches involved and especially fans could watch it. I think that would be awesome. But as far as backing it up to the region tournament when you have no idea who’s going to win makes no sense at all.1 point
-
No it means every year they do a blind draw and has nothing to do with the previous years blind draw. They went ahead and did the blind draw before the substate games this year so after all the substate games you already knew who you were going to face at the Glass House. In years pass they did the blind draw after all the substate games had been played.1 point

Eddie is a legend and a great man. I appreciate all he's done for football and kids. He will be missed.1 point

I believe that was a game that was also not on the original schedule. It was a last minute replacement for a cancelled game if I remember right. And don’t remind me about that Cookeville game!1 point

There's a very reasonable explanation for the decrease starting in 2020 and it really has nothing to do with leadership. I don't think here is the place to explain the numbers. Rest assured. I do know.1 point

Agree with @Booger here, no one has been upset about those boarding schools until the last half-decade. Why would McCallie or Baylor volunteer to play a national schedule @FBfan26 ? You ain't from around these parts or ain't ever visited on a Friday night in the Fall, so hear it from someone who has... those two schools care about one thing when it comes to football. Beating the crosstown rival... and for the past half-decade if you win that game, you're in a spot to win a gold ball. When I meet grown adults in Chattanooga and get to talking, they ask "Where did you go to school?" I always reply UTC for undergrad and Vanderbilt for grad school. The response is always "No, did you go to Baylor or McCallie?" It's different around here, man. This quite literally is life. I imagine they both care zero about playing schools like IMG Academy, Bishop Gorman, etc. What would either gain from that?1 point

Agreein Booger with FBfan26....up to last sentence.....and for the 100th time statement of Booger is that McCallie along with its little red raider sister over at Suk creek both been boardin over 100 yrs and wernt causin the rest of the state to butt hurt ..and to respond to FBfan26's wonder....no McCallie will not....nor does Booger think they should Booger just sayin1 point
