I really think their are some good coaches in this region. Some better than others, not sure if Coach Ferguson is best on his own staff. I think this year could make or break him.

Well I followed this region for several years, but I can't say I'm really from any of these schools. But I love to watch'em play.

Well glad to have your input on the T. We have several Ex-head coaches on staff. Rogers, Nickerson, Cowan, and Moose . What is great is that Ferg isn't egotistical so he likes to have their input. For example.......Moose's weightroom program was put in after season and you can already see a huge difference in the kids in both strength and confidence.

We have already proven we can get it done in the new format......98 and almost  again in 99...when we had 5 classes and no privates. And hopefully  we will do so again in the 2000's. riverdaleman was basically disrespecting any team that won a championship in the old format. And you and I  both know that any team that wins the state deserves a bit of respect. Odd how you riverdale folk seem to want everyone around to pat you on the back.......yet you refuse to give anyone    any. If you read riverdaleman's other posts, you will see that football is not the only sport that he is brazen in.

Wonder who might turnup on Monday in everyone's weightrooms.....

I was not disrespecting anyone who won the state i just disagree with you that it was harder back in the early days i am not saying that it is harder now i just disagree with the degree of difficulty there is no disrespect on anyone who wins a state title also i lived in gallatin in the early 80s i didnt move to murfreesboro til the beginning of my freshman year and i went to almost all their games the game against overton i remember well we were all in a shock because everyone knew that gallatin had the better team.

As far as other sports that i "braze" in i dont see that it matters but i support ALL of RIVERDALE and i try to make at least one game of each sport time permitting of course GO WARRIORS

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
