UCSportsFan
Another poll comes out, this one the "AP Poll" and has the RBS Lady Bulldogs ranked #1 in the state. This will be the "trifecta" as the #1 ranked team in AA and AAA this year have traveled to Gainesboro. RBS, a team that the Lady Blue Devils have already beaten at their place this year comes to Gaineboro tonight. The voters give this kind of schedule and the teams that play them no respect, its like a slap in the face to be ranked #9 in Class A for this program. Hopefully this will fire up the girls from J County to prove on the hardwood who the #1 team in the state really is! I wonder if a win tonight in Gainesboro will get the Lady Blue Devils any respect from the voters? The only poll that matters will be the one at the end with the Gold ball. Silver City Queen, when you go for popcorn be sure to wear your sunglasses as the Gold in those trophy cases next to them is almost blinding! Teams that play a tougher schedule get no respect until the end and after its all said and done this year the 2005/2006 Gold ball will reside in Jackson County! Jackson Co was still in the AA pool of teams, along with Oliver Springs. AAA still had Dyersburg and Jax Northside....they have not updated their website....... Jackson Co will be #1 in time....not sure they could beat the Lady Chargers though Sang to the tune of All the Gold in California: All the Gold In Jackson County Is in a bank in the middle of Gainsboro In Jim and Buddy's name So if your dreamin About Jackson County It don't matter at all what you say is true Jackson County's got all the gold! I'm sorry guido, please don't break my kneecaps!
Greenfieldfan
The AP poll just gave Jackson County motivation for this game. I dont have a dog in the race but RBS just got a bullseye on their back. Jackson County is out to prove who is the real #1. I'll take Jackson County in this one and it might not be close after this new motivation.. Edited January 10, 2006 by Greenfieldfan
gotmilk?
If JC wasnt already as motivated as they need to be for this game, something is wrong!!!!

UCSportsFan
If JC wasnt already as motivated as they need to be for this game, something is wrong!!!! Actually this is just another game in the season for them in reality. The only reason it would mean anything more is because its now a district game. Other than that, no big deal. Hey DF, are you going to be at two sites again tonight like last Friday night? That is the plan!
