If you can't beat them on the field , beat them on an internet board ...... where you can just make up whatever you want to about a team , community , and coaching staff .

Not trying to talk smack but, lots of teams in 4A-3 had good springs including my own SD. What makes the Panthers differ from the others Good luck to you all this season. Go KEES

Hey panthernation13...... can you name the "key" players that Maryville lost? Do you think it is worse than the previous year when Maryville last 10 starters on offense and 6 on defense yet won another state title and THUMPED Powell twice? How is Powell going to replace their key players from last years team that Maryville beat twice. Who will replace Smith and Watts? Do you mind answering these questions for us Thanks!

Ok--I really don't think anyone should be whining to Maryville people about rumors. They get them all the time (recruiting, steroids, etc.). Maryville is the classiest opposing team I've ever watched play. They have the best coach in the state and they produce quality players. SD shouldn't even have a horse in this race.

With your six posts and vast experience watching 3-4A games what do you base your assumption on?

 

Yes, Maryville again lost some great players. It is good that Maryville loses players to graduation it gives younger developing great players a chance to keep Maryville at the top of 4A in the state.

 

Oh, yes and to pound your panthers like every other Maryville Team has done since 97'. Over all the record is 33-5. Powell will be just a speed bump this year without Watts.
