The number of senior returns is not that big of a deal in high school. In fact most of your top teams, especially in 1-A started alot of younger guys, Example: Friendship, There top runningback, Rickaway was just a sophomore, and a good one. Trousdale used many juniors, and Hampton was full of freshmen. All three of these teams were in the top. Murphy needs 2 lists, one that list departing seniors and beside it he should list if they were impact players. You pass 12 years of school your a senior, that does not make you a good football player, my DAUGHTERS a senior.

good post, even better idea about the two lists

So ur saying that Union City losing 21 seniors isnt gonna make an impact on there season. I'll ask u that again at the end of the season, and see what u say.

2. Trousdale County (8 of 22)

3. Fayette Academy(14 of 22)

4. Jo Byrns (14 of 22)

5. South Pittsburg ( NL, but lost best WR)

6. Mt. Pleasant (7 of 22)

7. Jackson Christian (NL)

8. Gordonsville (12 of 22)

9. Eagleville (16 of 22)

10. Union City (NL, but lost 22 seniors)

Teams that could be there by seasons end:

I don't know about the returning starters for any of these schools except for Fayette Academy. We graduated 6 seniors last year and only four were starters. Considering we expect all returning starters to be back, FA will have more than 14 returning plus we picked up a couple of new kids that will break into the starting lineup. FA's strength this year will be the OL and DL.

I am sorry if the info is wrong, but i just got it out of the murphy fair book. So dont take it personal, but as u can see i still have Fayette Academy ranked very high, i saw them on film against Union City last year, and was very impressed with the defense.

Hampton has 11 starters returning from last year. among them are all-state all-east-tn and in my opinion 2006 mr. football

Adam Townsend, over 2200 yards rushing, over 25 td's as a junoir.

not the mention the big ole hogs up front. The Qb and Wr's have been working hard I hear so Hampton could have something up there sleeve for 06. Also I hear that they might be going to a camp or went to a camp.

bottom line is that they are loaded.
