Top Sophomores in Tennessee

Tavares Jefferson at Ensworth is the best sophmore no one has seen.

He is a real threat to score every time he touches the ball.

Eric Gordon and Corey Jorden at Hillsboro both have potential to be top prospects

I agree with you about Jefferson. If you'd like to see him, go to www.ensworth.com, click on the "Media Library"tab at the top of the page and click on the video highlights of Friday's game against Rossville Christian. There's a punt run back for a TD in the 1st half , and a TD run on a sweep near the end, both of which are really impresive. Not shown is an 75 yd TD punt return that got called back. He had 135 yds on 6 carries for 2 TDs and a 65 yard punt return for a TD. He'll face some stronger opposition later in the year, but he's a very impressive, elusive back.

Sam Thompson from Alcoa. He has good speed and hands(WR), and will put a hit on anybody (SS). Starts both ways on this team. His first high school punt (replacing Fiegler) went 65 yards against Maryville last Friday. As a footnote, he is very bright, already holding a HIGH ACT score! We will hear great things about this young man during the next few years!

My bad his reception was for only 29 y and not 30 and 172 y rushing not 176. I am not a stat man so I was a little off. Still pretty good.
