JCM @ Henry County

Recommended Posts

I wanted to get on and say hi to alll of you before the game. Yanker and VG becareful on your way up. I know the ride home will be very sad for you, but I hope it is safe.

As for the call on Randy, I for one will be up and chearing loudly when he is escorted in :thumb: It is great to have someone with the spirit that he has.

And by the way mom of 77 and fighting irish: Mrs. Poole made no call by herself. I'm sure you can ask Randy about this also, but no calls are made in this county with out Kresky involved.

Fighting Irish: We as patriot fans will not take away from the players, but we WILL be yelling louldly for the Long family.

I still say we should "boo" loudly when Kresky and Poole come into the stadium.

My prediction is HC 24 JCM 12

Boy I know you guys aren't going to like me for this one, but you really have to think about this situation and use your head on this one. Personally, I don't like Kreisky or Poole myself, but they have a job to do. I know this is a big game and it means a lot to the fan base and the kids. You have to realize how many young children are sitting with their parents between where Randy sits and where the band is. The first goal of school is to teach a valuable way of life and respect and education. When a man stands up and uses vulgar language at the band or the officials in front of small children of all ages, its not right. Think about how many teenagers are between Randy and the sidelines, walking by, hearing those remarkes. It does look good or sound good at all. I know Randy gets wound up, and he's a good fan, but you can't have that going on. To say you are going to Boo Kreisky and Poole for doing their job right "for once" is a bad thing. I know the "yacker" is going to like this, but I'm sorry Randy is wrong for what he did and something had to be done. Here we go!

As I said before, I wasn't near Randy last week. I'm a sideline Mom so I can be closer to see the plays better & yell straight at the guys. I'm no legend in HenryLand, but I've stood on that sideline & ran right along the side of it for the TDs for 3 years now at HC. So, I for one know that Tonight is about the Students! I was just passing on (for those that wanted to know) what I was told by players that went & spoke to Ms. Poole on Randy's behave, after all his son is a fellow senior of their's. I Do Not Have My Finger Out Pointing At Anyone, please be clear on that. Nor will I boo tonight either, that's just not a good example for 'myself' to set for "My 2 Sons". As parents & adults we have to decide what is right for our own peace of mind & no one else's. I am proud of each & every player on that team & it has been a great thrill & honor to have the chance to watch these guys grown into Great Young Men that will have a place in my heart forever.

I was glad to speak to Calvin yesterday afternoon as he was taking the practice field.

As for the band, these are Great Kids & they have taken alot of mouthing about how, when & what they play at the games. This is a GOOD BAND but, they can only play what they are told to & when they are told to play it by Their Band Instructor. The Band is just like sports, it's not a free for all, it's structured. I for one have felt bad for them for the bad mouthing (by anyone, not one person) that they have had to listen to & take over the years. I do not agree with how little they are allowed to play during the games, But They Sure Sounded Great Last Friday Night! I was really glad to hear them get to play more & maybe they will get to tonight as well.

For the Senior Football Players, Cheerleaders, Band Members, Red Roadies, FCA & The Rest of The Class Of 2007,

Thanks For All The Great Memories, make your dreams a reality & remember every minute of your Senior Year because it's ALL ABOUT YOU TONIGHT!!!! Good Luck Tonight To Each & Every One Of You!!!!!

Yanker & JCM fans drive safe & players play safe. God Be With All!!

Oh Yeah Coach Putman, This Game Is For ~2~ Large Pecan Cluster Shakes! LOL Good Luck Coaches!

A lot of good points made here and I agree, the stadium on Friday night is certainly not the place for any bad language. Randy should know better, but he is a great fan and as for the band, if they would make as much noise as him, we would all be happy.

Well, to both myadvice and #77 mom, those were both good posts and you can tell some quality thought went into them. For that I appreciate what you both say. And I think that wingman said it too, what happened last week apparently got our Big Fan in trouble, and he is paying the price for that. He has to be responsible for his actions and that is being done. It is now up to us, the rest of the fan base to "kick it up a notch" on behalf of Randy. I don't agree with booing our administration for doing their job. Just as I don't think that our kids/grandkids should have to sit and hear expletives be hurled at anybody. But I beleive that we can all make more noise and support our Patriots better than we have. So lets go out there and show our Football Players, our Cheerleaders, and our Band Members that we are all Big Red Fans through and through!!!

i understand what you're trying to say, but i don't think you thought about it clearly so let me help you. He did not use vulgar language to anyone in the stands. the use of vulgar language came in play about some penalties called by the ref. And from talking to friends who sit in the stands they said they heard quite few people cussing about the penalties too. so why single randy out? because we have a sorry adminstration who doesn't think it's right to cheer for your team, that's why.

I will be looking for you Yanker! Are you bringing your father or is that just too far a trip for him to make? Either way, I look forward to you coming up here. Bring an appetite if you show up early!!! I already know of one guy cooking up a feast tonight!!!

The YANKER will be with my father. He would not miss this one either. I am not certain what time we will arrive. We are eating here with some friends before we leave. Thanks for the invitation. For your own safety, the YANKER will respectfully decline because the crowd would be uncontrollable when word slipped out that the YANKER eating was with my HC friends!!!

You are maturing right before all of our eyes my "adviceful" friend. The YANKER has missed our battles...when might we expect your return???

Most of this entire page of posts have been about your "hornblower"...the YANKER feels sad for you all. Is there absolutely nothing to do or talk about up there. Get out of town...take a trip...take a nap for excitement...blow on a horn...join the military...I AM THE YANKER!!!!!!!!!

Good day Patriots!

I just wanted to say a few things that I feel need to be said. As mid season approached, I truly felt as if the Patriots had one of the best teams around, after 2 losses in a row and with the regular season nearing its end, I must say that the Patriots are still my favorite to represent the west in the Semifinals and even the TITLE game. The Patriots are very good, they have been but a play a way all year, when they begin to do a few more things right, they will be difficult to stop.

Their offense is second to none,

Their defense has shown sparks,

THeir special teams have had a few penalties that hurt,

I am actually a Jackson native but am lured to good football and right now there is a 4-4 team in Henry county that I just do not think anyone wants to play.

I have seen the Ridgeway, Brighton, Munofrd, and SS game, I just so happened to see a clip on the last td that SS got and although I am glad it was not called, it scared me, as I thought it might take the momentum away from SS.
