One Grizzly Fan
Random question - If Powell had beaten Oak Ridge and earned the right to host, could they have hosted at their home gym? I know that was not the case in 04 and 05. I ask, because the Powell boys won tonight, so I was curious if they would get to host a sub-state game at their home gym. Great Question RR I was think the same thing. I wonder if T$$AA is making some Teams that won their Regions move the sub-state games from their home gyms this year? greenevillefan
Will the Lady Devils get any support from the community on Saturday night? I have yet to see a crowd support them like the boys have had. Everyone talk it up and get people there.
billybobjr
Will the Lady Devils get any support from the community on Saturday night? I have yet to see a crowd support them like the boys have had. Everyone talk it up and get people there. Considering the size of GHS, I thought the boys crowd was even small. What's up with the support this year? With it being a home game, I sure hope we can drum up some support! There was NO student section at the first game and only students for the second game was the baseball team. Thanks Coach Richards for bringing them to the game. We loved the 4,3,2,1.WALK
IamKing
PT, you would probably have to fight to get Eual's seat. He was kinda rude to the Cherokee radio people when they were there earlier in the year, so if he says something mean forgive him, he is thinking of ways to get more quotes from Crumbley. LOL I've been on the rude end of ole Eual before. Of course, there would be more room on the press table if he wouldn't let whoever wants a front row seat to sit there. I agree King, he doesnt take to kind to visitors RR, didn't mean to make it sound like you were insinuating that the pg position was the only prob for JC this season. Just wanted to expand on it. Don't forget jeff county starts baseball in a week or so. Get your reporter pad ready.

LOL Maybe PT will give up his Cocke County homerism and come to Greeneville and take over as sports editor. I have to give him credit and say that he does a good job covering CCHS sports. He makes sure he gives the kids recognition for the hard work they put in. It is also exciting for a parent of a student-athlete to see an article about a game that she/he played in. Are the Sun & Plain Talk still owned by the same people? If so, maybe we need to get PT's transfer papers....
raiderray
Wouldn't that create an identity crisis for him? Would he have to change his name to GSS? Heck, he could just add a little U, and become.....GuSS!!! So it would be Guss and Eual and Wade.....sounds like a bluegrass band! Wow, glad we didn't think of that earlier. His current handle with a little U? OH MY! Sorry, I couldn't resist that one!
PTSportsWriter
I heard my name was being used in a not so nice way, lol.. Thanks for the compliments GreeneDevilMom...I try to do the best I can do, sometimes its not so easy - due to many things. And ray, yes I may be a PUTS, lol.....I mean I was the idiot in the second sentence of this thread who said the IMAC may be one of the strongest conferences in the state.....(I of course was using my crystal ball seeing the future of 2-3 years down the road ) BUT At least I do not cheer for the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.... PTSportsWriter
No, but you cheer for Cocke County I know you hate Cocke County, especially after a one-time Cocke County son, Steve Spurrier, helped to put the Payroll Tide on probation a few years back....
