He has some support at the board of education. He really built cornersville into a contending team a few years ago.

When the word gets out that he is being considered I think their will be enough voices against, that the board won't support his hiring. Lots of old time MC people don't like him and he had some problems at Cornersville when he was there.

I hope for Moore County's sake they do not hire Campbell. He is not a very good coach. Plus he has problems with letting people control him and that will not work in Moore County. If he is hired it will be a big mistake.

Just heard they are trying to put a package together that will keep Campbell at Huntland. Right now they are not sure if they can compete with jack daniels. A great effort will be given to keep him at Huntland.

Being a former teacher, many years ago at Moore Co, I can honestly speak of Coach John Tucker as I am now in West Tennessee. John Tucker retired from Football a few years ago, but he is one of the winningest coaches in the State. He took Milan to the playoffs and also won the state numerous times. I find it very hard to believe he would move from Milan, and also go back into coaching. But he would be a tremendous asset to the program. He is an "Ole School Football Coach."

A friend of mine talked to John Tucker a while back and he said that he would very much like to coach a few more years if Carlton Flatt got out so he could get the record back.

If MC can't hire him, they should hire one of his old assistants. Someone that has learned how to run the kind of program he ran. Are there any of his former assitants still coaching, that might be interested if John does not take it?

Coach Sharp coach for him at Milan. Man I hope MC not taking him for Lewis Co. Didn't the new Super. (Mooreheady) play for Sharp at LC? I did hear that there was a rift between him and the LC Director?
