you really think you would have beat all those teams without seth skogen- 1st- no you wouldn't have 2nd- you forgot about the leading rusher on the team last year....joey skogen- the last one!!!

 

SP- seth and joey were invovled in or responsible for EVERY SINGLE TOUCHDOWN- seth threw a td pass, caught 2 and ran a stipped ball back for a td...joey ran for 2tds and caught another one---

 

Trousdale- without seth you deffinately get beat hard- without both skogens you get a score put on you like last year what was it 91-0!!

 

pasture you are a moron and fail to admit the only thing that has made your school successful- we'll see if temple football ever wins a game in their region let alone a title- and the basketball titles- besides the one that will be taken away- will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!

I honestly thought every other poster who actually knows anything about Temple would have understood that when I said "shortly after" I was speaking in terms of a few years not a few days. Your age is showing.

 

Have you forgotten that even with the Skogens, Friendship beat us like a tied up goat? (How'd you like that one, Zone). Trousdale beat us up the year before worse than that (with Skogens).

 

Sure, I really do think that we would have beaten all those other teams without Seth. Did I not write it in my post. I tend to say what I mean and mean what I say. You forgot about Erik Larson, one of the top quarterbacks in the city last season (Was Grace's QB in the top list? I cannot remember. Oh well). You forgot about Kameron Ridley, also one of the top carriers in the city last year. How about Dee Newsome, Josh Smith, Colton Brown, Justin Walls, Daniel Mouw, Michael Green, Seth Wadley, Mitch Beard, and Pablo? I forget. Were they just standing on the sidelines last year? I do not know, but I was thinking that they probably started and played in almost all those games.

 

To listen to you squawk, one would think that Joey hiked the ball to Seth who ran it in for a touchdown every play. Try not to be so ignorant. I am not taking away from their contributions. We definitely would have beaten Grace last year without the Skogen boys.

 

Unless I am mistaken, you are the same poster who was on here last year before the Temple-Grace game getting your feathers ruffled over how Grace was going to beat Temple. What was the score? 36-0?

 

By the way, the Trousdale game the year before was 22-70. Do they teach you youngsters at Grace how to do research?

 

For someone who has such a hatred for Temple, I am curious what you were doing at the Temple-SP game?

He threw a couple of nice fades in the SP game but our coverage held them mostly to the short stuff which they took advantage of. It was a good game plan to hit us underneath on the short routes. There were also a couple of nice long passes in the TC game. Larson was not the best QB I saw all year but he was pretty good. Skogen was very good at making the difficult catch but for most part Larson threw it where only Skogen could catch it. Pretty smart. He wasn't a better athlete than Blake at Grace but he was a better QB. Of course I'll admit he had more help than Blake did too.

I do give them zero credit for the wins if you think they did it by themselves. However, I give the team that they significantly contributed to all the credit for the wins. Surely, if you were to ask any of the Skogens, old or young, male or female, they would tell you the same thing.
