big country i can't believe you didnt show me any love man lol!

I forgot to even mention you Mr. Gates.

I didn't want it to seem like I was creating a Pearl Cohn "All Star Team" from 1995-1999. Ty Lawless, Albert Washington, Reggie Ridley, Joey Martin, John Henderson, Santonio Beard, Buck Fitzgerald, Kenneth Gates, Wesley Holmes, Antonio Whitehead, Damien Harris, ETC............ETC..............ETC /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

You could have combined some players through those years from that Region 6-4A alone that went to Pearl Cohn, Whites Creek, Kenwood, Clarksville, Springfield, Maplewood, & Stratford and had yourself an "All Conference College Football Team" no question about it. THE TALENT ON THE FIELD BACK DURING THOSE YEARS WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

He may not be the greatest ever but of all the people I have seen on here nobody has said anything about Fernando Bryant. He played at Riverdale where he was all-american, all-state, so on and so forth. Then went to Alabama and played from 95-98 and all-sec 96,97, and 98. Drafted first round of NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars and Currently plays for the Detroit Lions.

THE BEST ALL-TIME HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS STATE WAS LINEBACKER TODD COLLINS FROM JEFF CO. He went on to star in the NFL for both the New England Patriots as well as the St. Louis Rams.

This is the worst list for anything I have ever seen.

Well lets look into the future. Sensabaughs will run the NFL in about 8 years. DB already has Gerald Sensabaugh on the Jags and Coty is redshirted at Clemson. Then you have freshman star running back Chris Sensabaugh who has only run the ball about 30 times and already has about 12 Touchdowns and leads the conference. You know he will be pro. I hope he goes to Auburn. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
