I just read the players of the week.I've got no problem with Taylor being our best player most any week.On the other hand,if any team that watches a DB game film just leaves a running back to block our little LB on the far left side of their offensive end ?They could then slip the back into the flat whenever they want or put passes behind the little blitz as WB did.If I can see it,you know a good 5a coach will see it.They can just run over that side as Karns did until we went to a 42 with Taylor and Kilgore.

 

 

I wouldn't question anything Watson does on defense. He is one of the best. But starting Friday night I don't know if we can afford to give the first quarter to their offense they way we have all year. But then again if thats what it takes to shut them down the rest of the game then have at it.

I'm agreeing with the moves Watson has made and as you just wrote,we just need to start the game that way.The only problem this week could be if we are not able to put our best big men on the field.

no, he fell and hit his head at his job - brain injury. I think he was on the soccer team and many on the football team knew him. very upsetting for the students.

Jon Metcalf died from trauma to the head after he fell from a golf cart and hit his head.

 

 

He was in a induced coma.

 

 

We are wearing green tomorrow in honor of him.

I don't think "Ole Dad" has been out in the sun to long. I just think he is the dumbest person in the history of Coach T. Each time he puts up a post it just shows his ignorance. This is a post about about Oak Ridge and Kingsport DB, it's not about Farragut and Oak Ridge. If people want to write about Farragut they should, on the Oak Ridge and Faragut post. Oak Ridge will do just fine Friday night and as far as them "coming out flat" toward the end of the season, just ask the people in Ooltewah about that one. Oak Ridge is not using the 2 QB system anymore. They are using the Shotgun formation as well as the Power I. The fans may not agree with coach Stevens on everything but we are behind our team and coach 100% !!!! The people in Faragut (like manningfan) don't really have to much to brag about (and shouldn't even be on this post) they have only beaten Oak Ridge 3 times in the past 25 years!! And as soon as Hardin Valley High in West Knox County starts their football program up, the winning days at Faragut may soon be over, because they wont have 2,500 students to choose from anymore!

Huhhh? I agree with ya. Preach on. When the passing was good from QB, receiver stunk. Smelly QB, open receivers. Calling for little rain now on Friday. OR WILL make DB throw!
