It's exactly the same in two little towns on each end of the state today/tonight!!!! Signs all over town. Huge community pep rally tonight. The biggest of big games tomorrow. It doesn't get much better than this ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen Hampton this year but compared to last years team, I think McKenzie's offense is at least 2 TD's better than Hampton's offense last year. I'm not sure what happened in the Hampton game but if they can put up 28 then I'm guessing McKenzie can put up 35 at least. I expect a better game than 51-24. With that said, I think both teams defenses are better than people give them credit for so I don't see 50 points being scored by either team.

haha not to ruin yalls conversation but isnt it a little much for a bunch of guys that have graduated a while back to get on here and tell others what the score is going to be i mean .. im a rebel fan and an alumini myself...but..i just dont see how all u SP ppl can say oh is no game we wen big .. i mean come on ... we both got here ... and as far as i remeber we earned it .so i just dont see the point in people saying they are going to whip up on anybody ..as far as im concerned we are quite the same ... SP has more speed...but i believe we have more balance...

It's Cranking here too...pep rally / bonfire at 7 PM ...the town will turn out when the team bus goes through in the morning. We even have the honor of a police escort by Officer Slick Rick all the way to the Boro. Both towns need to take it all in and enjoy. Times like these don't come often enough.

I fully expect a well coached and well executed game plan by both teams tomorrow afternoon. I have watched all the Mckenzie videos and they are an extremely talented team and play great team football. We have been excited about our Pirates all year, and look forward to a quality matchup between two well deserving teams. Having played in the State game and having the opportunity to see several more, I want to tell all Mckenzie fans that you are in for a great treat. This is the pinnacle of high school football so enjoy every moment of it regardless of the final scoreboard. Your team has accomplished something that should help to continue to build your program for many years to come. Have a safe trip, and see you in Boro!!

I typically don't get excited about the 1A games, but I am actually really looking forward to this one. I won't get to make it to the Boro, but I will definitely be in front of a TV watching it.

 

Reads like it is going to be a good game and a barn-burner. Good luck to both teams, but I got to say I still cheer for the West TN teams when I can. Go Rebels!
