Congrats to Siegel on the winning the Region championship against White County in front of a packed house at Shelbyville Central. Cutter had 10 points and alot of assists, Marc Gooch had 18 points, TJ Mitchell had 18 points, and Kerry Hammons had 12 points for the Stars. Siegel will now play Cleveland at home Monday night at 7:00 I believe. The Stars should win the substate game and get back to the Murphy Center /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Just got home from the game. Siegel played well. White County played ok. WC just missed too many shots that they normally make. Missed a lot of layups in the 1st half and didn't make many three's. We will head to Red Bank on monday night. This will be nothing unusual. I believe the last ELEVEN times we have made it to the substate{boys and girls} we have had only ONE of them at home. Fortunately we have won all but 2 of those eleven games. We did beat Siegel 3 out of 4 times this year. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I believe both 7AAA teams will advance Monday night. Go Warriors!!!!

The "swami" has arrived and needs to borrow a coin from someone please ??? This game is a toss-up and sooooooo important for that home court sub-state game , The "swami" knows White County is 3-0 this year against Siegel and sees White County getting it done again tonight. "Swami" sees White County winning by 5. The "swami" has spoken. Congrats to all the 7aaa teams this year, The play in our league during the regular season, should really prepare both Siegel and White County as they continue their quest for the "gold ball" . Have a great game tonight guys !!

Somebody please get "Swami" another coin because Siegel has proved that they can be a force to be reckoned with and take you out of your game with tight defense and smart plays. /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" />

    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
    • Heard Seq has gotten a lot stronger this off season. Can’t wait to see how the boys do this year
