CSAS @ Jackson County

While I can understand how a bunch of bedazzled, spittoon carrying broads (and I use the B word in the nicest of ways) can be a bit intimidating, I cannot for the life of me, imagine that the people of JC were slinging racials slurs around at the opponent or the opposing fans.

There is a loose cannon in every crowd, and Im sure if the other 99.9% of the JC fans would have heard this, or heard OF it happening, they would have straightened it out, QUICKLY.

Please, if this did indeed happen, do not take that as a sign of what the people of JC are. And please do not take it as a sign of what they think. As I say, if this happened, and it were caught in process, it would have been dealt with severely by the folks at JC.

Congrats and good luck to JC, and from what I have heard and read, congrats to CSAS on a fine season.

/thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Well said Gator, Truth be told!!! JC has respect for our opponents..we might make fun of you not knowing how to split spit beechnut and not having the blinged out spittoons, maybe cause the escort to the bathroom wasn't there..but respect we have.. People just keep finding reason's for hating J county...[sigh] I will say this if there was some idiot in the crowd and yes i said idiot that used that word, then i will apologize on the behalf of JC to the ones that were offended. There were alot of people there and very well could have been some idiot from some where else poping off at the mouth..There are still some uneducated people in the world..but for 99% of J county fan's you can bet they are respectful and are good people..Our kid's still get took to the wood shed if they get out of line /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> Just ask devilish she forgot and left midtenn tied up, we had to go let him loose before the game so he could be loud and proud.. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Midtenn, are you still mad?? We didn't mean to duck tape you that tight...

You're pathetic. You should have brought more fans instead of 10. No one used any racial slurs. Pitiful excuse for losing. If they wanted the ring so badly, maybe they should have played better.

okay as a csas fan i was at the game and I dint hear the n word being used. jackson co played lights out those kids can shoot congrats and hats off to you, ou all played a great game. and before dragoonhater or anyone else gets on here and says dragoo was outcoached thats a lie jackson co played a great game csas didnt play that bad of a game but it is VERY hard to beat a team when they are shooting the way jc was tonight. i am shocked there wasnt more CSAS fans at the game

Maybe there was something said, maybe not but even if it was that shouldn't be used as an excuse for losing. As somebody said, Jackson shot the lights out apparently. Let's not get into race or politics.

As for the crowd, another person mentioned the student section was playing baseball. I'd be disappointed the school didn't try and reschedule or cancel what I'm guessing was a scrimmage baseball game in order for as many fans as possible to see the basketball team. I'd also be disappointed that only the baseball team was interested in going, from the post a couple of pages back. I know CSAS isn't a traditional community school, and students and parents will make up the majority of their fans but I feel bad for the team if they really had that little support.

I too was at the game. It was a hard faught by both teams but in the end JC made all the plays when they need to and the Patriots just didn't have another impact player (Townsand dnp - hurt ankle) to go to. JC started out hiting 3 threes to open the game. At one time it was 11 - 1 in the first quarter. The Patriots went on a run but JC had an answer again. Going into the fourth, the patriots were down 12 but again they faught back and the game went back and forth the rest of the game. It came down to the Patriots missing 5 free throws in cluth situations in the fourth quarter. I'd say JC played about as well as they could and the Patriots played well, it just didn't go their way this time.

I didn't hear anything negative from the fans around me but afterward I did hear others disscussing some instances but whatever, JC played a great game. Congrats and good luck in the state. You earned it. To my Patriots, great job this year - you left it all on the floor everytime

CSAS played a much better game than they did against Temple i will say that. If they play that good they would have beaten Temple thats for sure. Westmoreland "almost" did from the sound of it only losing by 9. The Patriots were down 7 going into the fourth quarter with the score 49-42. Now before that they were down 12 at one point and made a great comeback for sure. It was a great game to watch and there were no fans "name" calling just cheering for our team so lets dont try to taint JC's victory! We were the better TEAM period as we have proven in the wins over Trousdale, Pickett Co. Westmoreland and now CSAS. I told you JC would play great at home and they did. The ref's were some of the best i've ever seen calling a great game with no one getting into foul trouble except one from JC. All in all a solid win and its on to the buro' for Cinderella! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

Excellent game! Both teams played exceptionally well. The Jackson County players came out to win, they played as a team and got it done. One player seemed to stand out to me.. Jared Robinson. Jared played a great game. He took it to the basket and showed that he was not intimidated by the big guy. Morgan hit a big set of free throws to help clinch the victory. JC is having a great streak, hopefully is will keep going and they will advance further in the state tournament. Way to go guys. I'm excited to see you play in the boro. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Congratulations Coach Flynn, Devil, and the entire Jackson County team.

Were you at the CSAS/Temple game?

On this thread, and the ones you started that CoachT shut down, you kept asking where I was? I was on this thread last night around 11:30pm congratulating your team. Your team, in the words of our President, was misunderestimated.

As for state, ya'll are gonna get smoked. Just kidding. Good luck!

I have been reading smack about how csas were going to blow our young men away. we didn't have a prayer. I have been nice. well, we won the game. Now the worst kind of smack has started. O.k. i'm going to let you folks have it. I'm blowing my nice gasket.

our boys our better than yours. If CSAS were so good, they wouldn't have been playing on the road. Would they??? So what our boys lost 16 games. They got it out of their system. Guess what?? we won the most important game which was the chance to go to state. Put this in your pipe and smoke this.

As far as the racial slurs, it didn't happen. You're a sore looser so lets bring race into the conversation. Afterall, CSAS couldn't have lost because they didn't play well. Its becasue of the JC fans using a word. It wouldn't have anything to do with CSAS being out rebounded, out scored and flat out out played!!!!!!!!!!!! What a bunch of horse hockey CSAS fans are.

Dude! Be real! Anybody can talk smack when the game is over. What fun is that? The thing about smack talking before the game is that everyone knows it is just that, smack talk and we laugh about it but to get on here after the game and talk smack shows a lack of class and is nothing more than a cheap attempt to rub someone's face in it. Show some class!

Congratulations to Jackson County on a big win and for how far you all have come. Good luck at the Boro, the biggest games are yet to come.

I never would have believed that the Patriots would lose but I was wrong. I like my crow smothered in red eye gravy.

By they way, you guys that have been wondering about why there were not more region fans on here last night, you all are an hour different. I was already in bed, as were many others.

I have been to many athletic events against region four teams in different sports and I have always found all the region 4 fans to be some of the most hospitable, respectful, folks around. I think most of us from this region that have been around single "A" high school sports feel the same way, so, there is no need to apologize for what some fan might or might not have said. Hopefully "baseball2008" has gotten over his "post-loss" stress disorder.

From all that I have heard and read so far, JC came out and played a near perfect game. Again, congratulations!

What does CSAS look like for next year?
