This is an interesting clip I think Dyer and CPA fans alike will enjoy. Interesting that it's a split decision.

Yea they were in the state tournament......5 years ago. No one on that team is still around. The seniors on this team went to sectionals their freshmen year, but haven't been past regionals the previous two. Teams like Dyer Co and Mitchell played in the semi finals and finals last year and I think the Mitchell players have won two silver balls the past two years. Thats what they meant by more experience.

I listened to the clip and I understood them to talk about the middle Tn teams of course but also their favs. Don't expect the East and West TN papers to mention much of the Mid State teams.

Your right they mentioned Dyer County (#1 ranked team in AA), Union City (#1 ranked team in A), and Ridgeway (#1 ranked team in AAA)!!!

One thing is for sure if CPA gets beat by this Dyer County squad which is a possibility they will be back next year and you can book that. I still say the winner of this game wins it all. And its a pity they meet in the first round.

In my opinion, this will be the best game of the AA tournament. I would pick CPA against any other team in AA, but not against Dyer County. They're the real deal.

 

Good luck to both teams. I might try to sneak over to the Boro and make this game.

 

The winner of this game and the winner of Bolivar/Howard will play in the championship game imo.
