IMAC (District 2 AAA) 2008-2009 Thread

We used to get box scores from most the IMAC games pretty soon after.

Well, we actually graduate from the A division to the AA division. I hope that we can pull it off!! Yes, I am being sarcastic. Tonight will be our first test. We play South Greene, finally. Who else is playing and whom?

Do you play at SG or MW? They will most certainly test you. As you know we lost to SG by 1 in a HOF game but I don't know how good an indicator that is considering we played flat and in foul trouble early; certainly not our best effort. It will be interesting to see how this one turns out.

We play at Morristown West first and then SG later in the season. I am really looking forward to it. I feel like we are behind because of our soft intro schedule. Cocke has played the tought ones already.

Yep CCHS has played the best teams from region 1 already and will play more tough teams this month in the Greeneville tournament

That could be a factor. GHS has played only one "soft" team in the pre-season. We held up well (although not up to speed) with Oak Ridge as we were nursing some injureies with the returning starters. We've played Gibbs, Powell, South Greene, Upperman and Cleveland to help get us ready. And we play Dobbyns Bennett Saturday. Everyone is healthy now and our younger ones have gained some valuable experience so our chances are as good as anyone else's for the conference title again.

 

But you should be ready for that AA School tonight. Afterall, you have been mixing it up pretty well with another little AA school the last few years. (us /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" ) We're going to miss playing up with the IMAC schools next year.

We beat South Greene by 27. Contrary to the score, it was a dog fight!!! How did everybody else do?

Very impressive and I hope nobody got injured against South Greene. They play some type of rugby combined with basketball; and use some pretty colorful language to boot! I say the IMAC will be Morristown West's if they stay healthy.

Jeff County won by 5, but I heard that Sevier County couldn't throw it in the ocean tonight.

 

 

 

Good win for Mo West, but they have the guard depth to play full court with a team like South Greene.

I was told at the Halls HOF game to expect no less than 3 weeks for Lacy. From experience with what she has, I would say they will be fortunate to have her back by Jan 1, but that is just me speculating. Anyone know any different?
