I have heard from 3 different folk today that this job is Carlton Flatt's to turn down.

 

this is not the future head coach of blackman, be assured.

whatever your source, it is wrong.

the future coach of blackman has been selected but has not been released

the coach is someone blackman will not be disappointed to have..that is for sure

When will the name be released? What about some hints since you seem to have the answer? Who were the finalists? Talk to us, let us know!!

 

I had heard that they were still interviewing, but I guess my source was wrong if you are correct.

Flatt is not interested and they are not interested in him.

Down to 4, could have been selected late today.........not sure.

Here is your clue............lets play coach swap.

 

 

Best hint yet! Heard the same thing. Wish they'd go ahead and announce it if it's a done deal like people say.

sorry, but I am out of all loops........... I am currently south of Tennessee for a while, and I have "zero" info on the comings and goings of the current Blackman job search. I think that a couple of Wilson County's finnest did apply for the job! I do know for sure that ONE of the HC's did apply. I am in the twilight of a mediocre career (LOL), and if one particular coach gets the job..............I will probably be shoved on into the "darkness". I did hear that someone near and dear to you also applied..............

Say hello to Captain Morgan for me, and the HC is in the hunt, but the metro man is at the school up the road , hear he is not happy the way the school is run. Eat the worm Pancho!!!!!LOL

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
