Coffee County beat Cumberland County today at 2:30 p.m. Coffee plays again tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Those games are in Manchester at the high school.

Now that most teams have played half of their district games, who comes out on top?

 

Columbia 6-1

 

Coffee Co. 6-2

 

Shelbyville 3-2

 

Lincoln Co. 3-3

 

Lawrence Co. 3-3

 

Franklin Co. 1-5

 

Tullahoma 1-7

Columbia has the hard teams up and coming, with Lincoln Coffee and one more game with shelbyville, I think Coffee just might come out on top, with the pre-season fav shelbyville following. Altohugh if Columbia avoids being swept its all theirs.

5) Lawrence County 7-5

Play in - Franklin County (1-11) & Tullahoma (1-11) Tullahoma winning, they split without Bryant pitching, should win with him pitching.

 

I might have conflicting records but I think these would be right. Also i'm not sure how the seeding would work with the 8-4 teams, I can't remember how it was last year.

This could be completely wrong. I've got to watch only half the district teams and the rest of my insights are from other people but here is my prediction and like we all know-anything can happen in this disrict.

 

1. Coffee 9-3

2. Columbia 8-4

3. Lawrence 8-4

4. Shelbyville 8-4

5.. Lincoln 6-6

6. Tull 2-10

7. Frank 1-11

 

I dont see tullahoma losing the rest of their games and actually stealing a game from Shelbyville to bring them down to a tie with columbia and lawrence. Columbia swept lawrence and i think lawrence pulls the sweep over shelby if they hit like they can and the pitching is back.

 

The joy of all these predictions and this district is that any team can switch places with another and crazier things have happened. Tullahoma and Franklin might just win out. Enjoy the second half of the season
