ScienceHillHeadCoach112
Despite what happened at the end of last season with their players getting in trouble, Austin East is back. They have several juniors who have already been offered full rides by major D-1 schools. Of them, standout Defensive End/ Tight End, Travei Pryor (6-7, 245) and Middle Line Backer, Devente Hawkins (6-1, 235) will be two of many on the team that will lead the RoadRunner pack this upcoming year. I feel sorry for teams that have to face the Roadrunners this year. Their entire WR core is over 6 feet and their top 3 runnining backs are by far the best in the area, if not the state. Their QB, coming into the spring is a lefty freshman who got a lot of playing time for varsity last year. He knows the system inside and out and is extremely athletic. All challengers be ware!! This team is tough!!

ShamWOW
Yawn........................ /bored.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bored:" border="0" alt="bored.gif" /> Catholic 45 AE ZERO.............. Don't be fooled... AE is continuously good. No one was going to beat Catholic that night, they were playing lights out football. AE will be back, believe me. I completely agree with the poster and I can say that AE has the most athletes in their district or region. How well they are coached and how well they play together will prove how good they REALLY are.
ScienceHillHeadCoach112
Yawn........................ /bored.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":bored:" border="0" alt="bored.gif" /> Catholic 45 AE ZERO.............. Catholic is no real champions. In fact, they're the laughing stocks of high school football. Ask any real championshp callaber team. They beat AE's Freshman and JV that night. Their parents, school boosters, coaches, and fans contiuously called into central office and hyped up the media to make sure AE players didn't have a shot to win that week (I know that for a fact from inside sources at Catholic). Way to keep that milk pumping into the player's mouth fighting Irish. You all are so spoiled, you really think you earned those rings after the crap you all pulled during round 3. Since you all don't seem to be, I'm embarrassed for you. As a matter of fact, doesn't the vice-superintendent's son play QB for catholic? Way to cry home to your daddy: Mr. Superintendent. He really came to Austin East and let those players have it on your behalf. Maybe he'll do it again next year.

Yea if Pryor can stay out of trouble ... oh no forget what I said ..It doesnt matter he will play anyway ... he has been in trouble in basketball this year but AE wants to win bad .. he is still on team .. and he will still be on football team regardless of actions .. you can book it .... AlcoasPaintedBridge
I don't care if A-E returned Leroy Thompson next season.....They are going to get hammered by Alcoa IF the Roadrunners make the playoffs.

Well how prophetic I was .... I went to AE / Carter basketball game and Carter won in 2OT's and Pryor left the court immediately and punched out a double glass window on the way to the dressing room .. cutting and injuring his hand ... I guess the kid will never learn as long as there are no concequences ...

This team is tough!! good team..but you guys need Will Clark to step up big time.....he has to make plays at WR....AE wont win on just defense and running the ball..........they have to be balanced....not in the sense that they run just as much as they pass, but in a sense...they have to be able to pass just as effectively as they run....they are gonna have to score points... ScienceHillHeadCoach112
You're right though, Clark is going to have to respond this year. He has big play capability everytime he touches the ball. Their returning WR crew will be over 6-2 (Tremond Robinson 6-3, WIlliam Clark6-3). AE also has another tall WR coming to the team this Spring. 6-4, 195 Antonio Dailey (JR). He passes the look test. He doesn't have an ounce of fat on him. I think this year they will have a better QB who can find ways to get WR's the ball. Not taking away from Dean, but DJ Oggs has a much stronger arm and loves to show it off. The good thing is that he's only an upcoming sophomore.
