Tennessee High

Daniel Boone

Davey Crockett

You can switch DB and Tennessee High if Sensabaugh goes down with a injury. And that is possible if he has to carry the entire team.

One thing I noticed about most everyone's picks is Boone being right at the door of the upper half.I think they are a team that you can't just show up and get a victory for sure.A mistake against Boone could be a loss for most teams in this conference

I just don't see South beating DB. I always hated that the South-DB was the first or second week of the season but that probably would have helped South this year. The game being later in the year will give DB time to iron things out. DB knows exactly what defense to play against them and the South boys are always intimidated. The truth hurts. As far as the final standings, it will be:

DB

South

TN High

Science Hill

Daniel Boone

Volunteer

David Crockett

Central

And Waco has always been a whiner.

You misspelled that.....its winner. :thumb:

You always got an answer. You crack me up. :thumb:

Was it just me or was Volunteer copying the Boise St. look with the orange pants white jersey and shiny blue helment. I thought it looked good actually. Award for best uniforms (even though some teams were in practice gear) would go to Volunteer IMO.

I agree, Volunteer wins "best appearing" at the Jamboree. South wins "uglest helmet" award.

Here is my out look on the season:

1:DB

2:South

3:SH

4:TN High

5:Boone

6:DC

7:Volunteer

8:Central

Dc vs Boone Crockett look like they where asleep an boone controlled the quarter.

I think south is over-rated....yea they dropped 21 in one quarte of play. but TN high did move the ball.

Db defense look pretty good fast if anythin they swarmed the ball carrier ever time. volunteer running back is way over-rated.

SH look pretty good. Ryan mitchell looks very fast. Central show improvment.

but its a brand new conference an teams are lookin to make a new name for them selves. I see alot of upsets this year n surprises.

It's amazing. I can hear it now if DB or Bristol had put it on South in the Jamboree. [Yeah, we looked solid. South couldn't hold a candle. Like always 44-0. Or "yeah, our RB is going to run all over them this year".] You wouldn't be saying "well, we only played our second string. Coach doesn't believe in showing all his cards in the Jamboree." Instead you would say, "We will really put it on South so imagine what we will do to them with our varsity." You people are such candies. Stacy showed what he's got. He ain't scared. I can't wait to hear what kind of excuses you give when we beat you. I've never seen a game with extremely bad officiating against Bristol or DB. So I expect it to be clean. I also expect the both of you to come a long way by the end of the season. In no way do I make a prediction based on what you didn't do in the Jamboree or on what we did do. But I get sick reading what you people say. Like "South did good but they are way over-rated" or "South is good but they thought this was a Super Bowl" I tell you now...if Stacy gets the chance he will put it on you and hard. I'm sure you will be ready to play and give all you have and I respect that you both have tremendous potential and know from years past that you will be a different team later in the season but you just can't be civil can you? You just can't give South the same respect we try to give you. Can you? I hope Stacy puts 100 on both of you. You better get all your guns ready because our guns ARE ready. Good luck with the first part of your seasons.

    • Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year
    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
    • Their feeder programs are in the best shape they've ever been.
