Culleoka got beat by Wayne Co. by 5------59-54 Cully was trailing by 21 points in the 3rd quarter and came back but just short. Wayne Co has a balanced scoring team. That Rice kid, #32 can hit from anywhere it seems. Any other scores in---I heard CA lost to Perry co but don't know the score

Looks like MTP was the only one to grab a win. Most of the games were close except the perry co. ca gm. Perry co won by 19. Richland gave S'town all they could handle but come up short. Good luck to MTP.

It's unfortunate that a majority of the 11-A cast has been kicked from regional play, I've yet to check the paper..can someone give me the MTP matchup and date? Also have to shoutout some support to the Santa Fe Lady Cats tonight fighting for a sub-state birth.

Rumor has it a starter on MTP got in a fight friday at school and was suspended. He wasn't even allowed to be near the gym during Saturday night's game, which sounds fair enough. Funny thing is he only got a 2 day suspension instead of the typical 3 so he can play tomorrow night. KINDA WEIRD. Lets see the MTP fans explain that one!

Honestly, an instance such as this in MTP doesnt surprise me. I remember years ago when rumors were flying about teachers boosting grades to keep the athletes eligible for play. It's unfortunate for such a talented crew to be swarmed with distractions.

I looked all over the county Code of Conduct and couldnt find anything about your "zero tolerance on fighting." I'm guessing discipline is up to each individual situation.
