I think thats where your wrong. Marion Has a good Def. They Held South Pitt to 20 points and a Improving Seq. Team to 21. Singals Def has been suspect when i have seen them. They have been gashed all year by the option, and i dont see them stoping marions attack. I do agree the game will be close. Best of luck to both teams.

Prediction time....Jasper is down but not dead just yet I don't think...Somehow I just have the feeling that the warrior faithful will be cheering loud and proud tomorrow night and it will make the boys play intense and they will win a close game and secure a playoff spot...play hard, play with emotion and play with pride!

I agree that signal is not as good as they think. If lookout valley did not suffer a severe case of cramping, signal would have lost that game too. Marion County wins this one and makes the playoffs!

Guys I think some of you may be right Signal may not be as good as some people think they are BUT this is a first year varsity program and they don't lose a single starter after this season. Just saying.

Recon,Old Pirate musta missed something. Fact is SM do lose some senior starters and 1 from SP. Not sure how many seniors are on the team but they have several. That point is why this OP feels the warriors will win at home. Jest feel the Jasper folkes have lost some of their confidence. Should be a goodun in Jasvegas.. Dad burnit, OP hopes this leaky sky empties before game time.

Not predicting a score just that Signal wins. The Marion team I saw two weeks ago isn't anything like the one I saw last year.

SM has at least 4 seniors among their main players, they see action on both sides of the ball. This includes the player the paper describes as their team leader, the fullback/linebacker. Their quarterback is a junior and the best of the running backs, in my view, is a sophomore. With just 40 seniors, according to "Yeahbuddy" and another full freshman class moving up next year, they'll possibly be in Class AA, 3A playoffs, in 2011. If you grow 20 percent and have enough to move up, you move up before the four-year period is over. Less than 20, you stay even if you're over the established cut-off.

Yeah, that may be part of their problem..............but one team they are better than is Whitwell....... .............the tigers are improved, but reality should start setting in starting tonight at the Pitt, and in the weeks to come
