That is why Boone was so excited about beating SH and Crockett is because they got to lay it to their friends. They want to shut down Bobby because he is their friend. Take a chill pill. Not everyone is after your son. I think 534ever got ya'll too fired up over Bobby earlier this week. Many Boone players and parents have pulled for Bobby because he is a former Boone/Gray player, but not this week. They are not going to let their friend and former teammate beat them since "he left and went to South." So don't get so offended. I'm not calling out your son just don't want him to feel all the pressure of carrying a team. I'm not wacojaco. But some want to know if you are giving Boone a party if they beat you? Again, back off on the attack. We are friends, you just don't know it and won't know it.

to play. But still I bleed red and gold and like the gray ruitan sign says getting onto the Gray exit, "Go Blazers beat the rebels and send them packing for the south!"

Well, I'll tell you what. When everyone picks Boone to lose is usually when Boone does not win. With that being said, I'll say:

Comp, don't put too much emphasis on BT. He has too many friends at Boone that played with him that he already has a target on his back for leaving Boone.

I would put my eggs in the Saint's basket since he alone beat them last time. Bobby got shut out last time and I would say he will be again this time. South's plan better be to throw deep and often. The run will not get it.

 

First half of the season BT struggled with a thigh and foot injury. Last few weeks has been a different story. I think the eggs will be spread to several baskets. There's one that's been a little quiet the last few weeks in the receiver corps that I think will be in the limelight again this week. Ain't it fun?

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. If you know us (the Taylors) NET, then you know what we're about. We've always got each others back. It's just how we roll. As for the party- I'll probably throw one Friday night win or lose to celebrate having a whole WEEK off from law school!! Woohoo!

This is the biggest game in Boone history and I know they will be prepared for this south team. They want revenge more than anyone. I personally don't think BT will play a big role in the game. Boone has to hit St. Clair like we did Harmon. I can't believe BT momma posts here on CoachT. Shows you got your sons back when people start bashing him. But BT momma don't be backing him up after the game on Friday if Boone comes to death valley and pulls the upset.

Here's the game plan. Our corners played an 8-10 yard cushion on Catholics WR's. At halftime they figured out how to cut Cozart loose. So the only time they went to those WR's was not enough. One play could have won the game but they just wouldn't run it enough. Lucky for us. We never adjusted even after we got burned a couple of times. Jenkins will wear that out. Stacy has to know that. Either Stacy wanted that on film and took a major chance that they would keep going to Cozart or we are just stupid. I'm banking that we don't give a mile cushion this week. That will be Jenkins trump card. You can't learn bump and run in one week. Can you? It would be stupid to go to one WR and leave Z to double on the corner. Just what Stacy is hoping for... The smart money would be to flood the middle while sending that side deep. That would not be Paul's side. IMO that is the whole game plan. Jenkins will try to score quick and fast. Put us in a hole and run the ball. This game rides on the corners. Rocket Scientry.

It'll be a shootout, plain and simple, just like the first game. There is a possibility, however, for a nice 20 point game...but by either team. Whoever gets the momentum and keeps it could do that, and we known South has confidence against Boone. Ain't been beat by them since 1999, so I'd say South is in Boone's heads. The only thing that can get Boone out of that slump is to get and mad play to beat South, not play to go to the 4th round. I think if they concentrate on that and play like last week....it will be Boone all the way. If not, if South is kept in the game and even if it goes to OT....South will win it plain and simple.

 

These posts are quite funny. It's obvious that a couple of you Boone posters are thinking you are going to blow us out. That's fine. And it might happen. But, if you think it, go ahead and say it. I like that, "if South is kept in the game......".

 

Kept in the game is how I like to put it if you don't sieze opportunities and score, or you keep giving the other team chances when you are in control. Take last game....plain and simple yeah, St. tore up the defense and made up for the fumbles....and all it would have taken for Boone to win the game was to hit him at the line at least 3 times. Those long runs kept South in the game, gave their team a lot of momentum, and it carried over to OT. South made plays, Boone didn't.

 

Boone has had bad luck with teams staying close and losing to them. Cherokee and Volunteer the past couple of years have been beat the first half, then let in the game and came up and beat ya.

 

If South thinks they have a chance still with 6 minutes left....they win. Boone will have to put this South team away with a big lead to win the game. Call it a salute to hard nosed South never give up attitude, not a put down. I still think it is a shoot out. South and TN High are two different animals. Boone had the answers to one of those challenges, but the second is yet to be seen.

 

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt, it won't be an easy game for either team. Anyone thinking differently is out of their mind.

I never would have thought 'Boone would have beaten the Vikings. It was just impossible. But they did...so let that soak in.

 

The Rebels will be ready. Their power is back. Quietly setting the attonement preparing for perfect harmonics.

I will be at some of the South Baskeball games with a Memphis hat on, i hope BT has a great game fri. i, think South will win but it will be close. wish i could be there just not ready
