I never said McKenzie didn't have a good defense...they obviously did. I will say Boyd's is very likely better. I will also say I think Boyd's offense is likely better too. That does not degrade McKenzie's effort in any way. Time will tell if I am correct...may or may not be. JMO.

Well Twit, looks like you were WRONG again.. your getting pretty good at being wrong. Too bad you can't get a job at it...oh wait i forgot...you are a Payfield Ref... i guess you do pretty good at being wrong huh? :roflol:

Boyd will win pretty easily...said so weeks ago.

I really shouldn't answer...but I will this time.

It really has nothing to do with this game...but the over all record is virtually even...30-30. Of course with your wealth of football knowledge...you already know that. I'm not going to go into SC winning 2 of the last 3...really no need. That ground has already been plowed.

I think Boyd will win because they are always very physical. TC cannot throw the ball to win. They lull you to sleep and hit you with a halfback pass...or some other similar play. Boyd will stop the run. They will be the most aggressive defense you have played...certainly this year...maybe the last few years.

On offense...Boyd will be balanced. They can throw or run. They will run mulitple sets...are extremely disciplined...and well coached. They don't make a lot of mistakes.

Boyd played a tougher schedule. They lost to a very good 12-1 class 4a quarterfinalist Red Bank on the road. They also beat SP (flu bug or not).

Okay...Roddy...let's hear your intelligent post on the game...and please keep the post about the game.

WRONG< WRONG AND WRONG......dang Twit, i hope you do better on the girls softball boards. :thumb:

You were right about BB being balance...they couldn't throw or run. :roflol:

Kinda looked like you couldn't throw either....good thing you didn't have to. Take Seay away and you lose. He's a great player. Both teams looked much weaker than in years past. That's kinda moot...tho..

all you have to do is win.

Who would have thought you would have a little class and not run your fingers after the game? Certainly...not me.

We didn't really need to throw ANY passes this game.....and if whoever was calling TC offensive plays....woulda ran EVERYPLAY.....it woulda been a much worse beatdown. :roflol: And even tho our QBs threw int's.....they were still better than Boyds QB....who kept throwing in the dirt. :thumb:

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
