Whew .. great game .. close to a nail biter but I refuse to deface my nails .. CONGRATULATIONS to all who played in this game not just TC but BB as well .. was a long and rugged road to TTU. WAY TO GO Jackets, I'm sure Grunt, Seven and all the creekbankers are thrilled .. nicely done .. keeping the gold in Middle Tennessee and next door to boot .. have a safe trip home .. y'all could stop and enjoy our Christmas parade .. starts at 5 ... LOL

Great high school football game. Would have loved to see that one go into OT like it should have. The ref should have kept that one in his pocket. Pretty questionable call at that point in such a game. Stinks to have him decide it.

Yeah...I agree. TC got a bad call on the punt rolling around at the goal line. The dude in the end zone touched the ball.

 

Neither team could throw a lick. TC really didn't have to...but when they did...it was picked. I was surprised at Boyd's inability to pass. They were pretty balanced the times I've seen them. Both defenses played as expected. Good game.

Old Pirate says 1st Congrats to TC for finishing the season and taking home the State Championship.

2nd, Congrats to the Bucs on a fine season and taking home the Runner-Up trophy. OP watch this game and it turned out to be a defensive struggle with the Jacket's mistakes helping the Bucs keep the game close. The Bucs are always a well disiplined team that make few mistakes but kinda thought they should have done more running behind that huge OL.

Both teams became familar with each other this year and most likely will face each other again real soon.

Grunt, creekbank, seven and the rest of the Jacket faithful congrats again and OP is sure that you'll all have another Merry Christmas again with some Gold to add.

Isn't it all about the ball in high school? A player can be laying in the endzone and touch the ball down outside the end zone. The ball has to break the plane. It may have done that today, but the player being in the endzone does not determine the call. Not like pro, where everything has to be outside the endzone.
