cornerback10
Congratulations to these outstanding players on becoming finalists!!!! What a list of talent here in Tennessee! Again I will speak of the one I know best.......Beth Hawn of Forrest. This is so deserving!! You have accomplished so much during your time at Forrest, and for your future, the sky is the limit!! We are all very proud of you, not only on the basketball floor but as such a versatile, well rounded young lady.....congrats to our new Miss Chapel Hill and hopefully your selection as Class A Miss Basketball!!!! Best of Luck to all the finalists...way to go!. Congrats to Beth Hawn from Forrest. . . No Sara Nelms from Cornersville???
mgm20
Looks like an injustice so far as Div II AA finalist. The players from the west region were passed over.
ballfan
Congrats to all But no Caya Williams from Mt. Juliet!!!!!!! I will promise you there is not three players in this state better than her!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GCPioneer
I want to say congratulations to future UT-Martin players in Beth Hawn of Forrest and Jasmine Newsome of Millington along with Heather Butler of Gibson Co. There's a possibilty that UT-Martin signed 3 Ms. Basketball winners this year!
tennesseebasketball
Congrats to all! What an honor! I have to say I'm unpartial to these girls as I'm outsider. I have to say Laken Leonard is top choice. She's a class act. Not only what she does on the floor but in the classroom and off the floor as well. The way she represents her community, her school, her family, and her team is exactly what one would want as Miss Basketball. Great choice Coach Insell. MTSU just got another winner. I'm your #1 fan Laken.
MamaKin
It is an honor to just be on this list, so all of the young ladies should be very proud. The school and communities that they represent should be very proud as well. To Molly Heady I'm so proud of you. Thank you so much for the way you play the game and the type of person you are. Your hard work and dedication to the game, the classroom, and the community are why you are on this list. Your style of play endures you to us fans, and your kind heart and sweet personality seals the deal.
ashjan
Looks like an injustice so far as Div II AA finalist. The players from the west region were passed over. Congrats to all finalists. Actually, the DII-AA was right on. The only change might have been Clay from GPS over Reese. I've seen Briarcrest and St. Benedict and while they are good teams, they don't have a state top 4 player that has performed on that level all year. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. ashjan
Congrats to all But no Caya Williams from Mt. Juliet!!!!!!! I will promise you there is not three players in this state better than her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Williams is good and will get better but there are 2 better all around posts in the midstate, one you'll see in Clarksville. The other is a DII-AA finalist. BBALL23
Congratulations to all the young ladies that were nominated. I just want to say the Jo Luffman from Lawrence County is an exceptional young lady on and off the basketball court. She is a great leader and an unselfish player. Good Luck Jordyn it has been a pleasure to watch you play!
SouthKnoxPrince
I can only speak about the one finalist I have seen and that is Hall from Morristown West. She is an athletic 4 or 5 who can run the floor and lead the break. She is as well rounded a player as I have seen in high school. One of their fans told me she had a quadruple double in a game. That is insane!!
mom4cheers
CONGRATULATIONS to Laken Leonard for being a Miss Basketball finalist. She is a most deserving young lady. I wish her well when she starts to MTSU.
