Congratulations to both Hampton and Cloudland! There is only 8 teams left now and 2 are from Carter County. It is an amazing accomplishment to think that these 2 schools are only 15-20 minutes from each other. I am assuming that since both teams are from District 1, they will be in opposite brackets. I think that both teams will represent District 1 well. Good luck to both teams!

I'm not sure, but I've heard somewhere in my years that postseason doesn't matter in Mr. Basketball voting. I believe they already know who the winner is, just wait till championship day to announce. Kinda like the NFL MVP. Based on regular season only. I hope I'm wrong about this because he put on a show tonight.

Yeah you're right Goose,votes are already in, but Hughes is definately deserving to be one of the finalists.

 

I also thought Harriman had a very talented team,they just lost their composure from time to time. Hampton beat a good team.

It wasn't like Hughes was wide open too many times. He is just so quick and can pull up without needing much space. I hope he wins Mr. Basketball.
