tcaee
We I was at the game tonight....TCA better hope that Jabriel Washington doesnt get hurt. He's the whole offense, and he's a safety net on D. I was impressed with the line play of TCA on both sides of the ball. Also, TCA's D was good. But still, they'd better hope that JW dosnt go down, or else they are in big, big, big trouble. Also, Washington is a great player, great athlete, quick, and dat. But, he is very, very thin and weak to be playing in the SEC next year. Also, I'd say that Teague of Henry Co. was a lot, lot better. But, Washington is a talent. I'm sure nick sabin is appreciative of your evaluation of jabriels strength, just wondering, how many national championships have you won? Oh, and at least we have an offense, I can't really say that much for humboldt.
VolandIndyGal
Sorry, you thought incorrectly zebra, trinity's defense simply dominated this game and the score in no way indicates how this game went. I think all of you humboldt fans vastly underestimated us. No one, and I mean NO ONE on this post EVER underestimated TCA! That is pure nonsense! We were hoping to win, but we knew it would be a VERY tough game. It was! We just came up short. We held TCA to 0 points in the 2nd half. 0!! Our offense just couldn't get anything consistent going, and we needed one or two plays. We could have won, but we came up short on a play or two. That happens, but no one for Humboldt underestimated TCA. Give me a break! Edited November 20, 2010 by VolandIndyGal
VolandIndyGal
Also, one more thing, if Humboldt had of run the wildcat sooner..with Quan at RB, then Humboldt would've had a lot better chance of winning this game. Quan ran very well out of the Wildcat. Oh, one more thought from the game....Washington handed the ball off 2 or 3 times the entire game...the entire game....otherwise, he either ran or threw it....he was the whole offense. He is the ENTIRE team, and we held them to 0 points in the 2nd half.

You need to get some class.
tcaee
we win and the first thing anyone does is get on here and criticize jw, sorry theres nothing classless about me feeling the way I do. If people are allowed to be critical of a talented high school kid then I'm going to express how unimpressed I was with humboldt. And on record, we played clock management the second half instead of airing it out as usual. Don't be so sensitive of the fact that someone simply doesn't think humboldt is all everyone has cut them out to be. Go check the game stats, they'll do the talking for me
GCPioneer
Tcaee, I've been on your side the whole way through on this. Jabriel washington is a legit sec db no matter what these people say. They've criticized jw in every way possible. The kid is extremely good and people just can't stand it due to him being on a team other than theirs. Maybe its just the fact he's going to bama and these people are vols fans. I guess they expect players like him to be able to walk on water too. I just wish people would give him credit without criticism. They say that he's good and then there's the butttttttt....... you know what I mean. Also, congrats to tca. I picked humboldt and was wrong. I hope you guys can knock off mckenzie next week. Good luck!

volfan007
If you'll actually read what I wrote, I said that JW was an amazing talent....great speed, quickness, etc. BUT he is very, very thin and weak. I'm sorry if you dont like to hear that, but it's just the true. Just like I am fat. I am. Soooo...I live with it. I'm just saying that to play in the SEC he's gonna have to hit the weight room hard, or he'll get hurt. I saw his extra thin legs last night, and I saw Humboldt players just shoving him down on ground...didnt even have to tackle him. So, I have nothing against the kid. I wish that he'd go to UT instead of stinking Bama. But, the truth is the truth. Now, TCAmom....I was at the game last night. I was sitting on the TCA side. I'm not from Humboldt. And, I'll say it again....yall had better hope that JW stays healthy...if he gets hurt, then yall are done. And, TCAmom, if Humboldt had of rn the wildcat sooner and more, yall might have gotten beat last night. In the 3rd quarter they started running that formation, and Quan was gaining much, much yards out of it. Also, Humboldt shut yall down in the second half....yall owned the first half...and yall's line outplayed Humboldt's line...on both sides of the ball....BUT, Humboldt outplayed yall in the second half....their D stiffened up and stopped JW...except for that last drive. And, Quan went to work in the second half. So, please dont get on here with all that "I'm unimpressed with Humboldt, they're not any good stuff." I was there. I saw the game. volfan007
also, in my humble opinion, JW is not nearly as good as Teague was in high school. I saw Teague play, and I've seen JW play. Teague was a lot better. But, JW is an amazing talent that I wished was on my team, and I'd love to see him go to the Vols...to see if he could develop into an SEC Corner...Saban apparently thinks that he can. If he'll work hard, the skies the limit for this young man, with his God given talent and ability.

Okay first things first, please try to address the correct poster. IF YOU'll actually read what others wrote, you would see TCAMOM said nothing about Humboldt; it was TCAEE. Secondly, if the kid is soooo weak, then why has just about every major program out there offered him a scholarship? Yes, any freshman coming into college has to learn to adjust to the college game and get stronger; Jabriel is no different. Don't go around acting like you're trying to compliment the kid because you weren't, unless you consider backhanded compliments an actual compliment. An ACTUAL compliment would have been he played a great game, he is a phenomenal athlete, etc. Instead, you had to write about how weak he is, and how someone else was much better than him. That's okay though, he'll still be playing next week and for four more years at Bama(wish he was going to be a VOL). So by all means keep hating away if that makes you feel better.
