Yes I know who you are and who she is I must say I liked that cheerleaders outfit. How are both of you doing? If it were not for your sister I would have failed Mrs,Davis English class,as you can see by way I form my sentences sometimes.Good to put a name with a face.I will send you a friend request on FB.You know my sister as she has the same name as your sister.

We are both doing well (blessed and highly favored). Her daughter is a (competitive)cheerleader so Kim stays in shape driving her all over creation for meets. Look forward to the friend request :thumb: Now back to the game... :popcorneater:

I garuntee you that Alcoa will win this game. They have 3 boys up for that Mr. Football award and they are real good. They have several more boys that are big enough to play in the SEC. Let me ask you Elizabethon people a question. Is that Witten man kin to that Jason Witten boy that played at Tennessee and now the Cowboys. I garuntee you that he was a real good player. I garuntee you though it would not matter if Jason Witten played in this game, these Aloca boys are real good and can knock a hole every play for their runners to run through. You think im joking but im not.

Im pretty sure Coach Witten and Jason Witten are brothers. Also Im pretty sure that Elizabethton knows exactly what kinda damage Alcoa can do since they were tossed in the playoffs last year by us. They still have hope though and I guess that's good. The Emperor of Japan had hope too in World War II

EHS coach Shawn Witten is Jason Witten's older brother. As a DB and WR/QB Shawn led the Cyclones to the state semifinals every year as a player, losing close, somewhat controversial games to Maryville (twice at least) and Knox Central. I believe Shawn is two years older than Jason. Shawn played four years at WR at Va Tech, starting at least two I think, including the year they made it to the NC game. Shawn was a grad assistant at UT for two years before taking the Cyclone head job four years ago. The program was down when Shawn took it, having had two coaches in the 6-7 years since Shawn's grandfather, Dave Rider, retired as HC. Coach Rider was a legendary coach for whom the field is now named. So Shawn knows how to win, and while EHS might not have the horses right now to run with the Tornado for 48 minutes, I guar-an-darn-tee they have the Heart. GO CYCLONES!!!

You know the cyclones are looking at this a another challange for them because everyone says they can't do it has given them the drive to want to prove those people wrong and say to alcoa you don't get a state champ game every year just because of who you are you're going to have to go through us and it will be a battle for who wants it the worse and to me i belive that is the cyclones

'ol Betsy doesn't have to win the whole war....just one battle. I'm pretty sure, like the Emperor, Shawn Witten has boys ready to give their all. Maybe they can pull a Pearl Harbor and catch those Tornadoes sleeping.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
