Elizabethton @ Alcoa

Ok I'm pretty unbiased and the 20 points is VERY misleading. Betsy had no chance from the beginning. yes, Betsy's kids didnt give up. But it was Betsy's starters vs. ALcoa's F3 and F2's. Alcoa scored 6 TD's in about 16 minutes. whoever the corner is that Elizebethton put one on one versus Isom was in an impossible position, and I can relate with him, only we played zone. heckuva lot easier because you have safety help, and you can jump on the outs and hitches. Elizebethton's guy had no chance. The 20 points is misleading to how lopsided this game was. Don't get too excited about the 20 points. this wasnt even close

I can spell "Alcoa is going to the championship game." Have fun on this played out board-I'm headed over to the Alcoa vs. Goodpasture forum. You may come over, but keep your fingers in your pockets out of respect to your six time defending champions :thumb:

Yall deserve the same respect you have shown which is NONE:evil:

The F5 didn't give up 20 <_< Try and keep up

This post alone shows that alcoafan72 knows nothing about "team" sports. He is labeling the kids on his own team based off of "who gave up points" and "who pitched a shutout". Throwing kids under the bus to make other kids on the SAME TEAM look better (in your eyes) is something that only a loser would do!

We had enough respect to call of the first string and save what could have been a real ugly game. I always say play a full half all the way, especially in the semis, but then we would be jerks for being up 56 0 by half.

I heard Rankin telling guys to not return the punt after we got the 42. Just so it didn't get worse. Look, congrats on getting this far. I'm sure it means a ton to your program and every school has a different measuring stick.

Still next week shoud be CAK Alcoa.

It's 49-13 Alcoa with just over a minute to go until halftime. Alcoa's secondary has been the only "coaching point" that Rankin will have to make at halftime in this one.

No worries.........no starters played after Alcoa went up 42-0. Freshman team played clean up in the 4 qtr and took a knee on the 2 yard line to end the game............could have been 100-0 easy! :thumb:

NET football is weak.... :bored:
